We are in 209 , just delighted to get stand tickets with the kids tbh.

Ditto - I got an absolutely shoite section (127) in the New Stand in Chawkes in Castletroy. But delighted to get seats in a row for the full car load that traveled to Dublin on Saturday.

Does anyone have any idea how the row letters work in the New Stand. Is it starting with A from the sideline and then B,C,D..... as you go up along. I'm in Row U I think.

For a €5 on each ticket going to the club I'm sure they'd be happy to help out.

They are happy to help out, but if you are left with one ticket.. that wipes out all the about 8 sales!

That's why I'm saying that they have until the end of the week to return the unsold tickets.

I know my club has been caught before when matches weren't a sell.. two tickets ordered.. tickets arrive.. person told the are ready.. question asked..where are they for.. ah.. I have better ones, you can keep those ones.. and the club is dumped on.

Anyone know is there an entry/ exit at the South side of the Town terrace? Or is it all at the North side, by the new stand?

You can enter and exit at both sides, right beside Thurles Sarsfields Gaa Grounds Stiles will be open, the first 4 stiles on the Old Stand Side.

I was listening to an interview with the Galway Chairman this morning and he made it pretty simple to be fair.

Every club in Clare and Galway have until 5pm today to apply to Croke Park for 50 discounted price tickets. Following this the GAA will release any tickets that weren’t applied for onto tickets.ie/Centra etc at 6pm. Clubs apply and pay online. He didnt say however whether these were stand or terrace tickets. He did specifically state though that there are 50 tickets available for every club in both counties. Im not from Clare or Galway so I’ve asked a friend in Shannon to order me two through Wolfe Tones.

If Wolfe Tones are only getting 50 what are your chances of getting two then!!

    They don't!
They say "Tickets for this event are currently not on sale."

    Any tickets going here?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,251 ✭✭✭Sterling Archer

Currently not on sale does not equal no longer on sale, when sold out, tickets.ie says tickets are sold out

It might work the same as it did last week. Early in the week, the tickets in Croker were pure sh1te, in the corners and all that. I booked mine on Friday and got Lower Hogan, right in the middle. The best seats i've ever gotten there.

Obviously, if there's tickets being returned by clubs you'll need to be quick to pull the trigger.

Where does it say that? Link? Screen shot?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,030 ✭✭✭Ray Donovan

It doesn't say it... that's what it says when they are indeed actually sold out

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,030 ✭✭✭Ray Donovan

As of 9:30 this morning there was 30,000 tickets sold with 16,000 remaining. If the clubs of both counties haven’t taken these remaining 16,000 by 5pm today they will go on general sale on tickets.ie etc.

As bad and all as tickets.ie is they have a decent service AND they don't charge service charge which is a great bonus.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,030 ✭✭✭Ray Donovan

Still no sign on tickets.ie. This is not looking good!! :(:(

Lads I just rang tickets.ie after an hour of refreshing my laptop - the guy there said no tickets available this evening and they have been advised that no more tickets will been be coming back to them

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators, Regional Midwest Moderators Posts: 24,053 Mod ✭✭✭✭Clareman

With the hassle the clubs were making about tickets in the media I'd be amazed if any of them refused tickets.
