Ya of course there was more terrace tickets available. It about 50/50 in Thurles anyway. Stand tickets are going to be held for clubs , corporates & players. The rate of tickets sold in the first hour was probably higher than the rest too.
junebabies wrote: » I didnt disagree there was more terrace tickets available , thats just basic math. I disagree that practically noone got stand tickets. Most ive spoken to got stand tickets. My brother only got terrace but he was late going online due to work.
Benbecul97 wrote: » Yes, practically no one I talked to got stand tickets, but most you talked to did. I suppose that's probability, not basic math!:)
junebabies wrote: » Benbecul97 wrote: » Yes, practically no one I talked to got stand tickets, but most you talked to did. I suppose that's probability, not basic math!:) Well if Semple stadium is 50/50 stand/terrace and the clubs, cooperates & players tickets allocation is out off the stand sections then it is basic maths that there is more terrace available to the general public 😉☺

Clareman wrote: » I think it's about 50/50 terrace/stand in Thurles in regards to capacity. I got stand tickets and I know loads of people that did as well. I'd imagine that nearly all tickets held back for clubs would be stand tickets. There are 54 clubs in Clare, 50 tickets each that's 2,700 stand tickets, Galway have ~80 clubs I think that's another 4,000 stand tickets so that's 6,700 stand tickets to be held back.

False Prophet wrote: » so you think that the club people that got a ticket in the corners earlier in the week and paying the same price as the better ones today is fair...... Surely the people that are top of the queue should get the best tickets, now if the tickets are made available via clubs first and only then made available online fair enough but current process of creating a panic and selling the worse tickets is bad form.
