Fair enough. I haven't had any problems with them except for stuff taking months to get here (but then, that was a problem with the Russian post and nothing to do with the seller).

hmmmmm i have to say im a fan of the more classic russian camo's myself

  • Registered Users Posts: 622 ✭✭✭ZeroSignal

Thanks for the post, Puding. That's really cool. I wonder where they got their Russian Digital webbing?

Slippy, I'm also a fan of both the old and recent Russian patterns equally but we chose the modern 2011 issue Russian Digital because we want the impression to be more visually modern, and on par with the other modern dithered camouflages used by the Germans, Americans, Chinese, etc...

Hey guys - Where would I pick up a black/olive drab/tan furniture kit for my VFC AK74?

I'd like a frontend with a rail system, similar to an M4 although a plain frontend will also do. I've found one on RSOV.com but I'd prefare something more close to home to order in.

    Any suggestions are welcome.

    which model do you have?

are you looking to replace all the furniture to make it match or just the handguard?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,902 ✭✭✭MagicIRL

I was thinking of replacing the wooden furniture on both the handguard and the stock with the plain black/od/tan version. Im just curious at this stage - Its really an idea I have for when, eventually, I scratch/crack/chip my wood to a state that looks unbearable.

not somthing shops in ireland would normaly stock, the most i;ve seen is the dboys handguards and grip but never the stock

your best bet is the LCT sets http://www.lctairsoft.com/parts_pk53.htm and http://www.lctairsoft.com/parts_pk52.htm wgc have them in stock

Apparently Izhmash is pushing to have the AK-74M and AK-100s replaced by their new AK-200 which features such heretical devices as a vertical foregrip, rail built into the receiver cover, flashlight and a retractable stock.

One rather good innovation is the use of 50 and 60 round magazines. Time will tell just how reliable they are. Also, they are using the AK-107/108 style recoil compensator.

Well, no one made the AN-94 so I can assume we'll still get nothing like usual. :D

What happened to keeping it simple. Are all those flashlights, rails ect really nessesary? I don't mind them changing to all polymer but that, imo, is over the top.

Newsflash, chief: they changed to all polymer in the mid-80s... :P

I agree about the tacti-crap spam, though. It's like Izhmash are just overcompensating or something...

Anyway, here's another shot of the AK-200 in 7.62mm and surprisingly without the retractable stock:

Still dont like it. The rails dont look right. If they have rails on the dust cover whats the point of the mount?

Hi guys! Sorry that the long-unresponsive, but they were all at work. Let me introduce you to the updated photos chasers.
Now the muffler is removed in 2 turns.
    Stock is detachable with buttons.
Overall increase in quality in manufacturing

And also good news in a month we get a certificate for AEG and can sell (to send) to any part of the world.

Holy crap. That really is amazing! $1300-$2100 is way out of my price-range though. :(

Also, apparently they're making an AS VAL and OC-14 Groza! D:

have to agree at the moment the price is well silly, my hope is that this will maybe lead to a more established malefactor or clone company picking up the design

They look class though, must take alot of work hand building them.

Probably will be snapped up by wealthy collectors

That's what I'm hoping too. Chances are, though, that will be a good 2-3 years down the line.
