I'm in Donegal this weekend, and running the marathon on the bank holiday so doubt I'll be down the following Sunday either (pre-emptive laziness ), but I should be back in harness for Hallowe'en weekend. See yiz then.

Nice! Can you confirm where and what time it will be? I don't know very well the city yet, so I think I need the address... Is it necessary to pay any amount to divide the rent of the basketball court or it is for free?

we play onSundays in Sportsco Gym, Ringsend, 6pm – 7pm,
No 2&3 bus from O’Connell st (Bus stop is near the Sony shop)
or a 25min walk from Dublin city centre.

the gym address is South Lotts Road,
Ringsend,
Dublin 4.

we divide up the cost between the group, it can cost between 6euro up to 10euro, depending on how many players we have

Was thinking of heading down for a run on Sunday the 5th. Getting back to playing and want to get as much training in as possible. Just wondering if a, you guys had room for one more on Sunday week? and b, whether you guys will be running the games over the Xmas period?

hey Dara. You are more than welcome to play.
If you pm me your email address I’ll get Louie to put you on the mailing list. This pickup game has been running most Sundays for a year now (bar bank holiday weekends).


we haven’t looked at Christmas yet, it will depend on the gym being open and if we have enough of the group commuted to playing over the x-mas
holidays - so we will look at this in the next few weeks
