Good to see game back working with dre

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,970 ✭✭✭mufcboy1999

jay didnt diss game he mentioned game, jim jones and dame dash on the song entitled " what we talkin about"

"I ain't talkin' 'bout profit, I'm talkin' 'bout pain
I'm talkin' 'bout despair, I'm talkin' 'bout shame
I ain't talkin' 'bout gossip, I ain't talkin' 'bout Game
I ain't talkin' 'bout Jimmy, I ain't talkin' 'bout Dame

game took this as a diss why? because he's pathetic as a rapper his whole character one minute he's apoligizing to jay,50,eminem etc the next minute he's dissing them this has happned way too many times. you honestly cannot belive a word that comes out of his mouth.

the really funny thing about this is game actually thinks he's as big as jay, eminem and 50and the whole suicide thing was true the chap even broke down crying on tv its on youtube.

prettyboy i know your going to jump to his defence straight away but honestly have an open mind and look at both sides of the coin.

and please stop comparing him to 50 honestly, 50 gave game his break and without 50 you would of never heard of game. 50 is the single biggest reason why game is even still around, game can hardly go through an interview or make a track without mentioning him.

i know game's stans dont like that pill but its the truth.

    As usual, you're completely wrong.

'What We Talkin' 'Bout' was released in September, two months after 'I'm So Wavy'. In July last year Jay-Z was at Wimbledon and somebody asked him what he was going to do about Game, then, Jay replied he's going to let him commit suicide. If anything that line is his response to 'I'm So Wavy'.

Not off to a good start mufcboy!

Get your facts straight in future.

So your point is that he's pathetic as a rapper and then you try to back up that point by mentioning what he says in interviews rather than his records? Good man.

It's also worth noting that Game has never dissed Eminem once, in interviews or records. He's mentioned that he would really like to work with him in the future.
the really funny thing about this is game actually thinks he's as big as jay, eminem and 50
How is this? He's mentioned several times that Jay and 50 are hip-hop heavyweights and he's an underdog.
and the whole suicide thing was true the chap even broke down crying on tv its on youtube.
Game mentioned something about himself considering suicide in an interview with The Source, that's why he had a gun to his head on the cover (like Dre did years before). This was the only time Game mentioned anything about suicide.

Now, in the video that shows him about to cry, he was talking about Sean Bell (Google him, because I know you haven't got a clue who that is) and how he tried to reach out to other rappers about doing something to protest what had happened, but he was the only rapper that did anything.

prettyboy i know your going to jump to his defence straight away but honestly have an open mind and look at both sides of the coin.
What two sides? Everything you've said so far has been completely wrong. You are seriously misinformed.
please stop comparing him to 50 honestly
When did I compare him to 50?? On Sunday, Jigga asked why is he still dissing G-Unit and I responded by saying that I agree, it is boring at this stage, but Game is obviously responding to the comments 50 made about him.

Where's the comparison? Do you know what 'comparing' means??
50 gave game his break and without 50 you would of never heard of game. 50 is the single biggest reason why game is even still around, game can hardly go through an interview or make a track without mentioning him.
Listen to The Documentary, Doctor's Advocate and L.A.X. and tell me he mentions 50/G-Unit in every song.

mufcboy, I don't understand how you expect to be taken seriously.

Dr. Dre signed the Game as far as I know and 50 took him for G-Unit and waited like 2 or 3 years to release an album because the game is in a lot of the vids for songs. I reckon Game would've been better off without G-Unit tbh.

The story goes that after Dre signed Game, he decided to make him the the newest addition to G-Unit because their album was about to drop and they were getting a lot of media exposure at the time. By having Game in videos and interviews with them, this was creating hype around the release of his own album.

He appeared in several music videos from G-Unit, Fabolous and Joe among others. He appeared on an episode of MTV Cribs with Lloyd Banks and Young Buck in 2004.

I think The Game owes a lot of his success to the exposure he was given when he was with G-Unit. Dre is a businessman as well as a producer and I think it was a pretty smart move to let Game ride on 50's wave of success. I think leaving G-Unit was one of Games better decisions though. If he stayed he would have ended up like Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo who are nowhere today. They have admitted that 50 is like the general in G-Unit - he calls the shots and, if they don't like it, they're gone. Look what happened to Young Buck.

Game was signed to G-Unit / Aftermath like 50 was initially signed to Shady Aftermath, but after the success of GRODT, Interscope gave him his own label and this is how G-Unit records came to be. After Game left G-Unit, 50 went on a signing spree and it wasn't long before Mobb Deep, M.O.P., Mase, Spider Loc and Olivia were part of the G-Unit family.

AFAIK, Mobb Deep and Olivia were the only ones that released albums, which both received negative reviews. Nothing ever happened with the rest of them. Mobb Deep, Mase, M.O.P. and Olivia are gone now. Nothing is happening on G-Unit records today. The only albums that were released from the label in the last 12 months were Before I Self Destruct and Terminate On Sight.

So, the chances are, if Game stayed with G-Unit he would be nowhere near as successful as he is today. He's working with Dre and he's back on Aftermath and that's all he's ever wanted.

Ya I remember that picture, was something like "Suicide is never the answer" or something like that. Why do the likes of Jay-Z and 50 make snide comments about Game killing himself, Eminem has admitted before that he considered suicide but nobody mentions that. it is a low blow against the Game and despicable in my opinion.

mufcboy, I don't understand how you expect to be taken seriously.

your are clearly looking at things from a fanboys perpespective here.

ok your the one who is completly wrong "what we talking about" was released on bp3 but jay was touring in america before "im so wavy" ( a terrible diss by the way) promoting bp3 when he treated his fans to an Acapella verse from the up and coming album at the time bp3 from the track "what we talking about". thats when game got wind of it and made "im so wavy".

so lol prettyboy get your facts right in the future !!

I ain't talkin' 'bout profit, I'm talkin' 'bout pain
I'm talkin' 'bout despair, I'm talkin' 'bout shame
I ain't talkin' 'bout gossip, I ain't talkin' 'bout Game
I ain't talkin' 'bout Jimmy, I ain't talkin' 'bout Dame".

The Game has made negative comments about Jay-Z over the last few years. In the rhyme, Jay is simply stating that he has never acknowledged those comments, I don't think game interpreted it that way thats when he came back with im so wavy!!!!.

i mean what kind of idiot says sorry to 50 and then goes at jay lol. everyone around hip hop knows game is bi-polar and nobody takes this man serious thats why 50 and jay ignore him because they knows he's just trying to stay relevant.

now just to clarify how much of an idiot game is, this is what he said on his twitter lol regarding the verse from "what we talking about".

DO YALL THINK JAY-Z IS DISSIN ME ? YALL LISTEN & TELL ME WHAT YALL THINK ?!?!? & THEN WE CAN DECIDE HIS FATE !!!

The people determined that it was not a diss.

AIGHT SO, AFTER ABOUT 10,000 RESPONSES.. THE RESULTS READ THAT HE AINT DISSIN ME. & AS BAD AS I WANT TO RESPOND TO HIS OLD AZZ, HE CAN SLIDE

two days after "letting Jay-Z slide" game was back on Twitter with these words

JAY PUT MY NAME INNA RAP NOW ITS TIME TO DRIVE BY THE RETIREMENT HOME & BREAK HIS WHEEL CHAIR !!! WESTSIDE TIL I DIE !

    typical bi-polar game.

so thats the whole jayz v game thing wrapped up prettyboy, what i stated above are facts and "im so wavy" is a response to the verse from "what we talkin about" is what i always said pretty!.

Game mentioned something about himself considering suicide in an interview with The Source, that's why he had a gun to his head on the cover (like Dre did years before). This was the only time Game mentioned anything about suicide.

Now, in the video that shows him about to cry, he was talking about Sean Bell (Google him, because I know you haven't got a clue who that is) and how he tried to reach out to other rappers about doing something to protest what had happened, but he was the only rapper that did anything.

game was always known as an emotional rapper the fact he was on change of heart didnt help, no surprise he copied dre with the cover because thats what game does he copys all the west coast legends and name drops every verse he hasnt really got a his own character.

yes i do know who sean bell is he was shot and killed by NYPD before his wedding day and there's no need to get so smart about it, if i remember rightly gunit done a tribute track "straight outta southside" for sean bell as well as the iamseanbell project.

now in that video pretty he wasnt about to cry he was crying and it wasnt all over sean bell it was the state of hip hop and the fact he was talking about how he was going to retire which he done a trademark bi-polar change of heart on. there's a differnce between Em and games situation.

It's also worth noting that Game has never dissed Eminem once, in interviews or records. He's mentioned that he would really like to work with him in the future.

so i take it your not fimilar with the verse he changed on "my life" about proof ?. before you go any further it was a diss he just went bi-polar again.

So your point is that he's pathetic as a rapper and then you try to back up that point by mentioning what he says in interviews rather than his records? Good man.

thats it bud i dont even have to go by his music because if i did you would know he is the single biggest name dropper in hip hop.
His lryics are terrible for the best part, can you name me one single game track without him dropping name's infact can you name me a verse where he does not name drop?

dont take this personal prettyboy im just stating my opinion and some facts.

by the sounds of things you get most of your imformation of thizisgame.com because you really come across as a fanboy.

if im wrong im wrong I dont really care so if I dont reply it is what it is.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,213 ✭✭✭PrettyBoy

Jay is simply stating that he has never acknowledged those comments, I don't think game interpreted it that way thats when he came back with im so wavy!!!!.
I'm pretty sure he was just making it clear that he wasn't going to be talking about Game, Jim Jones or Dame Dash because he is constantly being asked about what's going on between himself and those individuals.
50 and jay ignore him because they knows he's just trying to stay relevant
How has 50 ignored him? You're constantly singing 50's praises so I take it you've heard 'So Disrespectful'? Funny how you don't mention that 50 is always taking shots at Jay too.
now just to clarify how much of an idiot game is, this is what he said on his twitter lol regarding the verse from "what we talking about".
two days after "letting Jay-Z slide" game was back on Twitter with these words
FFS do you take everything Game says on Twitter so seriously? Weak, weak argument.
the fact he was on change of heart didnt help
What has that got to do with anything?? Ad hominem arguments won't get you anywhere.
no surprise he copied dre with the cover because thats what game does he copys all the west coast legends
Right, so what West Coast legend is he ripping off on this months cover?

    thegamesource.jpg
yes i do know who sean bell is he was shot and killed by NYPD before his wedding day
    "Thank you Wikipedia..."
if i remember rightly gunit done a tribute track "straight outta southside" for sean bell.
What? They mentioned Sean Bells name once. The rest of the time they were talking about killing other people.
now in that video pretty he wasnt about to cry he was crying and it wasnt all over sean bell it was the state of hip hop and the fact he was talking about how he was going to retire

    Are you serious?
During an interview, with Music Choice, the Game began to cry when he spoke about the Sean Bell case and how so many rappers didn't care enough to contribute to the song

Here's the interview for anyone that hasn't seen it (that includes you mufcboy). Go to 3.30.

Sorry to just discredit your whole argument.
there's a differnce between Em and games situation.
What are you talking about here? What is this in relevance to?
so i take it your not fimilar with the verse he changed on "my life" about proof ?. before you go any further it was a diss he just went bi-polar again.
I'm well aware of that line from 'My Life'. The song was leaked and because he mentioned Eminem it was assumed that he was dissing him. He cleared it up the day after and that's the last anyone ever heard of it. Why would he diss Eminem? If it was an attempt at a diss it was a pretty bad one.

    Read this: http://www.starpulse.com/news/index.php/2008/07/25/the_game_denies_eminem_attack
thats it bud i dont even have to go by his music because if i did you would know he is the single biggest name dropper in hip hop.
So if you bought his music then I would know he's the biggest name dropper in hip-hop? That makes sense.

Moving on from your horrible use of the English language, yes, I absolutely agree he is the biggest name dropper out there. It's definitely the thing I dislike most about him.
if im wrong im wrong I dont really care so if I dont reply it is what it is.
So you're basically arguing for the sake of it, even though you admittedly think you could be wrong?

Thanks for that Horsebox. It's unlikely that the final tracklist will look exactly like that but the beats on this album are going to be insane, regardless...

Just checked Game's Twitter and apparently the first single is going to be a Dr. Dre beat

Thanks for posting that PrettyBoy. I feel a lot easier to respect the Game after seeing him break down like that. Fair play to him. As i said earlier it's despicable how 50 and Jay are dissing him about adntiiting having suicidal thoughts. Makes it lot easier to relate to t game in my opinion.

Game spoke to MTV about his R.E.D. album and what we can expect from it.
"It's back full-force Aftermath and I'm conjoined with Star Trak." (Pharrell Williams is one of the LP's executive producers.) "I got this colorful movement over here where it's beautiful music on this side [with Star Trak] — then when I need to go dark or super grown and sexy, I got Dre over here. The combination is crazy — mixed in with a Cool & Dre track and RZA track and all the sh-- I been doing. The only person I'm upset I didn't work with on this album is DJ Premier. I feel his sh-- would have been perfect for this all-star producer cast that I have. One Premier track would have did me just fine. I would have murdered that sh--. But we ain't get it in, 'cause he was doing a whole bunch of sh-- for Christina Aguilera. I'm just Game. So I gotta just wait for the next album."

    http://hiphopgame.ihiphop.com/news.php3?id=5216

He also mentions that Cool and Dre produced the intro for the album, titled 'Infra-red'.

still no single or video, real lack of buzz around this album outside of game fans

looks like red is going back on the shelf for a few more months as its detox time, hopefully this will give game more time can come up with some decent music because absoultly everything so far has flopped and failed to create a buzz outside of game fans.

the album was supposed to be released a few weeks back but game ever had the courtesy to tell his fans it was wasnt coming out same as the promised mixtapes and the 400 bars track , the word is that jimmy iovine doesnt want game to give away free music like other artists ... as if he isnt rich enough already.

I'm not the biggest Akon fan myself and I don't listen to Lady Gaga at all. I won't be surprised if their songs don't make the final cut. Akon recorded tracks with Game for his last two albums and they were left out in the end.

bud i do like games music but im not afraid to talk about something i have a problem with i.e no 400 bars or album!

you hardly think there going to push red album the same time as detox bud? they will wait for detox first and then push red , do you really think anyone will want to get in the way of the detox train? most anticipated hip hop album maybe ever...

pretty i changed my mind, cheers

So Interscope won't be releasing any new records before Detox? I don't know where you get your theories from. R.E.D. will drop when Game and Interscope are good and ready. Do you not remember last year when Dre planned to release Detox within a couple of weeks of Relapse? All this Detox talk only came about two days ago. I hate to break it to you but the whole industry hasn't stopped what they're doing and put everything on hold.

Here's a video of Game in the studio with Cool and Dre. There's talk that the music playing for the first minute could be the instrumental to a track called 'Infrared' which Game has recently talked about.

Im not afraid to talk about something i have a problem with either. But i really dont have a problem with an artist pushing back an album if he/she feels it isnt right.

Say Detox drops in November. Does that mean nobody should release an album before then (Drake)? Would Game be smart to release RED after Detox?

Also, try not to say stuff like "bud" because it comes off condesending over the internet. What does "pretty i changed my mind" mean? Did you mean to say "pity i changed my mind"? Because if so, then yes, it is a pity.

Clearly he was referring to Prettyboy and if you want to read condescension into him writing bud in his posts then that's on you but this is not the place for it to be brought up.

Keep it on topic, that goes for everyone.

I hate to break it to you but the whole industry hasn't stopped what they're doing and put everything on hold.

lol no not interscope pretty thats a record company with lots of different genres of music like pop such as pussycat dolls or black eyed peas i.e the mothership that aftermath, shady and gunit records all fall under!! its not just hip hop. Aftermath is a record label under a record company;), but ye interscope/aftermath wont release any hip hop albums before detox!!.

game is under aftermath so do you really think they will push detox and red around the same time i.e a few weeks? well the answer is no because game hasnt got a buzz and is serioulsy struggling to get one he needs the features he's obviously going to have and if you doubth what i said above the proof's in the pudden i.e red constantly getting pushed back just like before i self destruct was for relapse, and that was the talk of the supposed 3 headed monster which never happned and they wernt going to be released within weeks of each other lol it was months! but that was em,50 and dre and game isnt as big as any of them 3 artists.

no the whole industry wont stop but most hip hop artists will avoid going head to head with dre the first week you can gaurntee that unless it was someone real big like kanye or jay.

ok no problem, what Im saying is I do have a problem with people who promise tracks, mixtapes, albums etc fook even concerts oxygen 09 ring any bells and then dont have the respect to his fans to let them know the situation:eek: and we all know game is twitter mad all it takes is one comment he's always trying to promote red on it.

what drake done 55k 1st week the kid they should of looked out for was kid cudi who beat drake with ease pushing around 120k and anyway forget drake have you heard j.cole he's like drake on steroids:D.

its nothing about being smart he has no choice to release red after detox lol.

why not? we are not robots mikey "bud" is a word im pretty sure its in the dictionary. just because we are on the internet doesnt mean i have to talk you any different as i would if i met you in person  afterall this is a hip hop thread so i say theres a bit of room for a small bit of street slang BUD:)

    Aiiit dawg ;)

I still think we will get RED this summer, then Detox later in the year. We have a tracklist for RED afterall.

    (off topic)
Yes ive heard of J.Cole, have you heard Good Game? Its probably my fav track of his, just outrageous. Playground too i particularily like.

Drake has blown up since his 55k first week. Thank Me Later has a serious buzz growing in the US and its definately going to sell well. I was just using him as an example of albums that are going to come out in the "detox buzz".
