Ryu's EX fireball has huge comboability on CH in AE, but ONLY as a raw EX fb.

IIRC (CH) EX fb x2, Ultra is the best for damage.

EX fireball has crazy juggle properties on counterhit. In the corner you can do 3 and U1 or is it 2 and then U1.

The counterhit into U2 I'm not sure about, never seen it before. Cool though!

Srs question time!

I'm trying to use the training room a bit more cleverly recently, and I was just wondering about a couple of things...

I'm working on a couple of Guile's option select ultras (he has a good one for Viper with U2) and I'm finding it kinda... tiring tbh, I'm using the dummy and every time I cock up I go pause/playback/record. As I'm only able to land it maybe 1 out of 10 times so far this is taking a loooooong amount of time to get into muscle memory. Is there a quicker way of doing it I'm not thinking of?

Just try the input close to the character where you should get the blockstring, then walk back to where it'll definitely whiff and do it again, where the os should come out.

edit: As p1, not recording the dummy.

Go to custom match and search for more skilled. Beating people with way more points than you is the fastest way to rank up.

You should be able to reach B rank though sheer perseverance.

Points don't really go down until you hit 5000bp, and then its just one big slippery slope! :pac:

I got that trophy on PSN in early Super days, just gotta be really patient and just learn optimal combos or do what I did and just fish for focus into ultra all day.

Oh I was only messing I'm B rank (although I can't seem to ever go beyond that 7-8k mark.) Just realised I only have one achievement left to get for Super/AE... hosting Team battles. Looks like I'll never 100% that game then. Anyone want to play some team battles

I actually nearly got the C to shining C by accident. Its on Super, and it was just because when I first started SF, I didn't know who to pick, so I just played everyone on ranked. After I had done it with like 3/4 of the cast, I realised that there was an achievement for it. I think that the only characters I have left to do are El Fuerte, Guy, Gen and Dhalsim

So, anyone been keeping an eye on Ono's tweets lately?

Yesterday he tweeted something along the lines of "SFxT patch all ready for the 29th." Then another saying "I'd like to do something now for this..." with a picture of the platinum AE disc in his hand.

TBH if they just patched out the unblockables I'd be happy.

Well, I'd be happier if they increased meter build on boom again slightly and either fixed the start up or the damage of sonic hurricane.
