Yeh I loved it, it is tough but if you miss as little class as possible or catch up on ones you do miss then 1st and 2nd year can be handy enough, 3rd and 4th were challenging but you get to program some real applications so its a lot more interesting and rewarding.

You basically Q to get registered, have your picture taken, hand over your giro and get your student card, there will be general tours of the college and speeches you can go to.

Probably a few freebies will be handed out too.

Well it was hell -took me 15 minutes to find the office, everything looks exactly the same, its like a giant maze with lots of dead ends and the room numbering doesn't seem to have any structure - P1102 is beside P1150 and P1103 is about 4 rooms down.

Still, it looks nice and is miles better than the old Computing dept and the bathrooms are very fancy
Il be glad to get back properly next Monday

I actually got myself another gig that day as well , so ill be promoting a mobile phone company and doing tours that day , GWAN JOB SHARING neither knows about the other one :-P

First actual day?

You just head to class and get to know your lecturers and other students.

Some lecturers will hand out the curriculum for the semester, some will just have a bit of craic, some will do stuff to help you get to know others in the class and some will be mean and actually get stuck into work.

Library people do books and Online journals etc.. They will try and help you as best they can but youre better off going to

Computer Services for Pcs /Wireless/Moodle/Email

Theres a new company looking after Printing. The printing technician is in the library but the printers are all over campus so he cant always be there.
