so how is everyone after the big break?
im strangely looking forward to getting back into some form of routine to be honest, the exams i found very stressing, brain nearly hit meltdown a few times! then coming home and switching off for nearly a month was kind of difficult to adjust to at first i found.
its going to be odd waking up and having something constructive to be doing again!

I actually want to go back. I've done absolutely fcuk all over the break. My sleep pattern is all over the place. I sometimes go to bed at 11pm but most nights I've been going to bed at about 4 or 5am.

I need a routine and to do something constructive with my time. There's only so much tv/internet/films you can use as entertainment purposes without getting bored.

I was looking for work since finishing up college last May, apart from doing a few personal projects and some small time freelance work I had nothing to do.

It was very boring!

Cant believe how enjoyable work is after so long doing nothing

Kinda. At least I can actually leave my house now. No more snow hopefully. Have a 21st to go to tomorrow night so that should be a nice way to round off the holidays. Desperately want to get back into a routine.

went to silence on thursday night, was never there before.
good spot, the smoking area was a bit of craic, (although i dont actually smoke) my one quam with the spot was you cannot put down a bottle for more than one second. had 2 or 3 bottles knicked on me, one instance a lad went 2 shake my hand, put down the bottle, shook his hand went to pick it up again..and..gone. seen the girl that obiviously took it, big hefy heffer in a short black dress (U..G...L...Y..she aint got no alibi..shes ugly!) she was a few inches taller than me so i made the informed decision not to persue my nearly full bottle.
i mean come on hefy ladies, its 3quid a bottle, buy yer flippin own ye shower a scabs!

worse thing about dundalk is that, has happened me too cant blame Silence for that though.

I dont like silence myself, mainly because of the way its run, and the way the bouncers are too, one night we were on the Q for 45 min only to get to the door and they were only letting people with DKIT student cards in! :pac:

I also don't think the SU should be giving them all the big nights, I mean you can go to silence any Thursday night, when its a big night but some effort onto it.

Not a whole lot draffodx really. Just the usual grind really.

I'm just so looking forward to 2nd year. I've seriously got no friends in my class group. Everyone chats to each other in class but as soon as we get a free hour or two everyone just goes off on their own. FFS. I've tried to make an effort but nothing's working and I don't wanna pay them. :P

I've not heard much about rag week tbh. I don't even know if I'm gonna go up for anything.

I thought so too but it doesn't happen. I dread coming into college and facing those zombies every day. I've put so much effort into making friends but nothing has happened.

I've got friends up here who are in my old course I used to do and I can see them a bit but they won't be here next year so I was hoping that some sort of friendships could've been forged.

Nobody seems to have any sort of similar interests really bar computers. :rolleyes:

If we weren't specialising I'd be gone from college as it's honestly depressing coming up here every day but I'm thinking positive things about 2nd year when I'll be mixed with other class groups and might make some friends.
