I passed my repeat, back of the net. :)

I assume college will begin on Monday, so hopefully I'll get subject choices sorted out in the next day or two. Anyone know how that will work, will I get an e-mail or a letter?

I've seen people studying for PHD's while sporting a hoody and a pair of jeans, so I imagine a Masters won't be any less lenient. If that's what you mean?

I suppose just dress smartly. :)

Does anyone know what the story is with these Ulster Bank overdraughts?

I ignored them all last year but was informed by someone yesterday that if you sign up they give you a no interest €650 overdraught.. Surely that's too good to be true??

Stupid UCC changed my timetable since I had it printed. I ending up sitting in for about 10 minutes waiting for a lecture in a module that I don't do.

Lads, could someone explain to me where the hell Non-Beginners German lectures are on for First Year Arts? On the timetable there's about five different rooms listed for German on Monday. I ended up missing it today cos I was so confused. Help! ...please. :D

And on another note, how was everyone's first day?

I was in the exact position as you today! I was so confused, i was standing outside G39 for like ten minutes but then met two others and followed them! Turns out we were on the first floor in room 44 i think. But tomorrow we are in room G39....however though she said as there is a larger class there might be changes again....ahhh confusing!

I did non-beginners German last year, and as far as I can remember...

Check the noticeboard in the German department (first floor of O'Rahilly building), and you'll see "Tutorial groups" posted up. Just find your name, and it'll tell you where and when you will have your classes. On a Thursday morning between 9-10 (if the timetable has'nt changed), then everyone is in class together for Literature. Everyone is in the same venue, so there should'nt be any confusion.

For the Grammer classes, all the venues and times should be up on the noticeboard. If not, just call into one of the lectures offices and ask, they're the most friendly people in the world!

And on another note, it's even more confusing in second year.. I'm just trying to work out my timetable, and thanks for the German deparment it's wrecking my head! :(

Mine was alright. Didn't have a lecture 'till 4. Off for an hour then in for one at 6.

I'm waiting for real work to begin.

How was yours quoteunquote? Bar the German fubar timetable. :D

Twas good! Those Booles are far too warm for their own good though. Got a good bit of exercise running around the ORB looking for German too. I think all students should be given golf carts so we can get from point to point. Imagine the chaos!

Trouble on College Road again tonight. Just drove past two squad cars urshering a mob of unruly students out of a house, some house party gone wrong no doubt, there's about 40 of them just standing on the footpath outside, roundly booing the cops. Ah the young of today! :) When i was their age i was in bed by now :D
