Do you have a rooted phone? You need to root in order to access paid apps.

Does anyone know of a good app similar to Twitpic that will allow me to instantly upload a picture after taking one?

To blog pics or just upload to post on forums etc?

If the latter, I use Imgur.

If I see something funny or was at something and just wanted to shoot a pic and upload it instantly. When I tried in the past, it just failed. I just downloaded something called twicca twitpic plug-in that worked.

Don't know if this was mentioned before, but has anyone tried tunee music? It's so simple to use and I can get any song I want free.
This is an amazing app, but I gotta ask, whats the catch. They don't log your mobile number or anything? It just seems way too good to be true!

There are a good few apps in the Marketplace that can download free music. You wouldn't find them in the Apple App store that's for sure!!

It's not downloading free music, it's stealing it. ;)

Anyone else think MixZing app is not a good as some people make it out to be? you can't listen to it when you go to home and lock the screen. Also the equalizer doesn't work on some wma files. anyone find a better app for playing music?

You definitely can continue listening when the screen is locked, there must be something wrong with your settings maybe? Mime also displays the artwork and some controls on the lockscreen, which is very handy indeed. I have the full version, mind.

I prefer the Double Twist app for listening to music.

Are you using any Automatic Task Killers? I forgot to put my media player as an exclusion when I installed it first. So when the screen went off, about 30 seconds later the player got killed.

Nope just the advanced task manager, looks like it just stop the trask and also turns the equalizer off when I exit the app. I might try the Double Twist app and see how I get on with it.

Don't bother with the Double Twist desktop software, it's like itunes with most of the functions stripped out.

I feel the same way, It's amazing but i always feel there's something fishy about it! Still love it though, it has completely changed my android experience. The interface is simple but good looking and the music is found easily.

I know but this by far the best I have used. It's much simpler to use and has almost any song I want on it.

Sky have released their Sky+ app on the android market. If you've used the iphone/ipod touch version, its pretty much the same thing. Free too.

Register an account on http://mysky.sky.com/ (you'll need your customer number, accessible from your sky+ box under system settings). Use the ID you create to log into the app, set your region as the Republic of Ireland and you're all set.

The great thing about this app is the ability to record programs remotely. So if you're working late, and you won't be home in time to watch a match on TV, just load the app, find the channel where the match is on, select it and hit the record button. It will record the selected show on your sky plaaaaahs box. :)

Is it the Sky Remote Record app by MeavyDev? OR am I looking at the wrong one?

    Has anyone tried Edwin. http://lifehacker.com/5596610/edwin-speech+to+speech-android-app-expands-androids-speech-recognition-skills

Its pretty cool. The best thing about it is that when you download the app it asks you to install a voice recognition app. I have a desire and as most of you probably know it doesn't come with voice recognition. However, it installs a voice recognition app to your phone very easliy.

You have the ability to long press the search button and the google voice option comes up. Not sure if this is the official google voice app. But it works very well. It allows you to searh google with voice commands.:)

No, that one won't work outside the UK.

Just installed now but it's a pity you cant record a programme that has already started.

Anyone know of an app that would allow you to block other apps from running?? Say like blocking the stock music app from starting up when I click my headphones remote. I have Tune Wiki installed and love it but want it to start only and not that other crap!!

    Cheers,
    M

Is anyone having problems downloading apps from the Market today? I've tried to download at least 6 diferent apps at different times today and every single one of them returned a download unsuccessful error message.

I have tried on both 3G and wi-fi and get the same error on both and I know both are working as I'm receiving my emails, internet surfing etc

    Any suggestions anyone?

    Ben
