    All the comments say the majority of opponents are perverts!

    I read that but didn't come across any. I don't have a profile pic though and I'm not female.

    Sometimes it takes a few mins to get a game. The people connect to the game and then disconnect. Maybe this is the perverts looking for some girls?

    I did see one guy with a penis as his profile picture. I've played over 100 games though so not so bad :rolleyes:

    Definitely a couple of issues like I can't find my actual friends to play with them, possibly because it seems to be a port from iPhone, but nonetheless it's decent.

    Simpsons Tapped Out was updated yesterday to include the SquidPort!

    See this thread on the games forum. If you have taken a break from the game, maybe now is a good time to start playing again?

    Downloading of the update from the playstore has been buggy, but solution available in above thread!

    On another note Stargate SG-1: Unleashed Ep 1 was released on android as well!

    Ummm, sorry for being thick but how do I do this? It goes straight to credit card as always, If I try to add a new payment method it just lets me add a new card, no mention of using my credit anywhere...

    Think you have to be using your data not wifi at least. After that I am unsure.

    I had the option to add it as a payment method when buying an app through the store on the phone. Just asked to confirm my name and number

    Does it work on PAYG? Also I read somewhere you need to have the carrier's firmware on the phone for it to work, is that true? I just tried to buy something whilst on mobile data and didn't get any option to switch payment method.

    Edit: Figured it out myself. Once you click to buy, then click accept, click the amount in top right. It will allow you to change payment method.

    Yeah you click the little arrow beside the price and its let's you change the billing method. Worked fine on WiFi for me.

    I wish i had read the reviews as well! Not been able to save your progress and having to start from scratch each time you load the game is annoying!

    Hopefully they will fix this in the near future!

    Floating Notifications has been in alpha/beta on XDA for a while and has been released to the Play Store today.

    I haven't tried the beta but I just downloaded the Play Store version there.

    Looks like it could be good. Pretty decent of the dev to give a 30 day trial to test it.

    Brilliant app. Does anyone know of any app that will turn notification sounds, for selected apps, on or off at scheduled times?

    I use Smart Sound Profiles but this can only schedule all notifications - you can't select which apps.

    I want to schedule Twitter & Facebook notification sound for certain times/days.

    Lads we've all been there. You have the day off the next day and you want to lie-in and suppress your alarm in the morning.... but only that instance of the alarm so that you don't forget to set it again and sleep-in. Can anyone tell me if some sort of app exists that would handle this?

    Where did you find it? I can't get any option for using carrier (3) billing anywhere on my nexus 4...

    does something need to be enabled on 3's side?

    edit: something that may be a problem; when I tap to buy, then hit accept, the price is shown to me in $. (its in € when browsing.) odd.

    yep, I don't get that option at all. that is also where I am shown the price in $. using mobile data, cache and data cleared from the play store app. I'll put up a screen shot in a minute.

    Everywhere else in my google account refers to Ireland. I do not have access to categories like Devices and Movies, even when using a service like unblock-us. I do not have access to region restricted apps. I have never attempted to alter the country of my google/play account.

    I do use unblock-us regularly, maybe that has affected something somewhere. It has never in the past, and it never lets me access US/UK Play store content. But as far as my google account is concerned, nowhere does it state that I have a US play account (I have been using this google account for years, and no deliberate changes were ever made.)

    The payment options screen is shown, with the only options being "add credit or debit card" and "redeem" for a gift card/code.

    Only thing I can think of then is to reinstall the Play Store. There's something odd going on with yours!
