Can anyone remind me of the score at the end of the second half? I've forgot it in my excitement! :D

TG4 and RTÉ and even the local radio station are yet to put up a match report or even a score update.

Im not 100% but Im thinking Limerick 1-7 to Corks 12 points?

That was the score at half time alright. Is there any chance you remember the score after 60 minutes? I know Limerick had 3 goals and Cork had 1, but that's all I can recall.

    1-27 to 4-20 I think?

But yeah as the old saying goes, goals win games and that again was proven true tonight. Any team who concedes 4 goals in a game of hurling doesn't deserve to win in my opinion. That said 27 is some points tally.

Walsh deserved MOTM but it won't matter sh!t to him after a loss like that piled on top of Sunday's loss with the footballers.

Tough game to be on the losing side of but all the better if you win.

Edit: I gave you the score after 80. My bad.

I think it was around that. Maybe 1-26 to 3-20? I'm trying to write a brief review of the match myself, but writing it with inaccurate scores would be silly. :pac:

    Edit: Deise got it. :)

First half here and the second half is on the site too.

Might just watch it again to relive the moment :D

Thought that it was gone tbh when Cork started going 3 points up in the first period of extra time and each time we got a score, they came back and levelled. Oh what a match!
But ya, Limerick GAA breaks my heart so many times but when we win something, it just makes ya feel so happy :D

Alternative match report, for anyone who's interested:
Bhí foirne iománaíonchta Luimnigh agus Corcaigh ag imirt i bPáirc na nGael, Bothár na hInse, anocht i gcluiche cheannais na Mumhan (faoi 21) 2011. Ceann de na cluichí is fearr a chonac im 'shaol riamh a bhí ann.

Chríochnaigh sé ar chomhscór tar éis an dara leath, Luimneach ar 3-15 agus Corcaigh ar 1-21. Bhí Corcaigh dhá chúilín chun tosaigh ag leath ama (1-7 in aghaidh 0-12) agus tháinigh siad amach go tapaigh sa dara leath le cúpla chúilín laistigh de trí nóiméad, nó timpeal sin.

Do dhúisigh Luimneach arís agus fuair siad dhá chúl eile, agus bhí siad 5 cúilín chun tosaigh ag pointe amháin, ach ní raibh na Reibiliúnacha chun aon rud a thabhairt dá namhaid gan troid. Fuair siad cúl agus ní raibh iontu ach dhá scóranna ag dul isteach in am breise do na stopanna sa chluiche. Bhí rogha ag tosaí Chorcaigh sa 61ú nóiméad: an dtógfadh sé seans cúilín éasca a scóráil, nó an ndéanfadh sé iarracht cúl a fháil chun an chluiche a bhuachaint?

Thóg sé an chúilín, agus sna soicindí dheireannacha thóg duine de na leathchosainteoirí poc ollmhór óna leath féin den páirc. Chuaigh an sliotar thar an treasnán agus shéid an réiteoir a fheadóg. Bheadh níos mó ama ag teastáil uathu!

Las siad na toilsoilsithe i Luimneach agus tháinigh na 30 laochra ar fad ar ais ar an bpáirc. Bhí cuid acu traochta, agus cuid eile imithe de bharr gortuithe sna seasca nóiméad, ionadóirí istigh ina n-áiteanna. Chuaigh foireann Chorcaigh chun tosaigh le roinnt scóranna den chéad scoth. Trí cúilín ab ea an bearna eatarthu tar éis deich nóiméad.

N'fheadar conas a tharla sé (mar d'aithrigh duine sa seomra an cainéal ar an teilifíseán!) ach fuair Luimneach cúl eile sa chúigiú nóiméad den dara leath d'am breise. Tar éis deiseanna a chur amú níos luaithe, do scóráileadar cúpla chúilín den scoth sna soicindí a raibh thart. Chuir an lántosaí an sliotar ar strae taobh na láimhe clé de cuaille Chorcaí, ach ní raibh sé tábhachtach ag an bpointe sin.

Shéad an réiteoir a fheadóg don uair dheireananch. 4-20 ag Luimneach. 1-27 ag Corcaigh. Bhí an bua ag na leaids sna geansaithe uainne. N'fheadar cad as a dtáinigh siad, ach rith daoine ina mílte as na n-ardáin, páistí agus tuismitheoirí agus cairde agus daoine nach raibh baint acu le héinne seachas an ghrá a bhí á roinnt acu le gach éinne eile don spórt. Bhí sé ag éirí dorcha i Luimneach, ach bhí aghaidheanna lonracha ar na buatóirí.

Ní raibh sé tuilte ag Corcaigh an cluiche a chailiúint. Bhí siad go hiontach. Fuair siad níos mó scóranna, bhí siad ar fheabhas i lár na páirce agus an sliotar go hard ós a gcinn, agus bhí scil á dtaispeáint acu agus iad ag rith. Agus fós chailleadar.

Sin an chluiche, is dócha. Sin cheann de na chluichí is fearr a chonaic mé riamh.

Anybody else for the C&H Fantasy Football Head-to-Head, there's only 3 so far and we need an even number to go ahead with it? :(

Done mate. Is it just for fun or is there a prize for the winner?

I've realized that I've written off Mayo for every match this year and yet they've won. So I'm going to say it now, they haven't a hope against Kerry and I'm sorry I bought a ticket.

I forgot to change my captain for Fantasy League this week (it was Dzeko last week, doubt he'll be as good this week) but at least Suarez has scored. New signing paying off. :D

Vuelta time! \o/ TTT was quite odd, wasn't expecting Leopard Trek to take it - the team's only got one Cancellara like! Sky finished third from last, only 42 seconds down, but was quite surprised by that!

I dropped Suarez for Torres! :o

And my bench did better than my whole starting eleven.

This would have been funny on LC results day :P

But yeah I thought my team last week had done a bit meh, but this week was a baaad week! I still have 4 players left to play, but I'm looking at probably about 30 points max :(

Disappointed with Baines (or Everton in general...), but hopefully Man City and Fulham will have clean sheets, and Bale happens to score like a million goals tomorrow :D

EDIT: Fulham's prospect of a clean sheet is looking questionable already :\

    EDIT 2: Stupid Kevin stupid Doyl-stupid-e :'(

    EDIT 3: ............................ It's not even half time yet! 2 - 0! :'(

EDIT 4: I knew I should have played Jarvis!

Was at the Kerry game today. Excellent performances, particularly by Aidan O'Mahoney and Colm Cooper. They won very, very easily.

Was disappointed with Donaghy and Darran O'Sullivan, but the defence were very good, by and large. A few lapses in concentration, but only when they were coasting. When it mattered, they were excellent.

I walked away from the Mayo game a lot happier than I have been after previous defeats. I reckon there's great potential in this young team, and they've certainly exceeded expectations for this year, even if it ended so badly.

Andy Moran looks excellent. The midfield weren't great though, and they need to focus a bit more on playing the ball rather than just hitting hard, I think. After Galvin came on they started to lose focus on the ball and go more for the man, IMO, and that was to their detriment.

Haven't seen a single stage of the Vuelta this year >_<. Which of the big guns are riding it?

Couldn't have put it better myself. The O'Shea's are physically capable but their passing and decision making are poor. Robert Hennelly is another man who needs to gain experience, hes a good keeper but he makes some poor decisions such as that time he caught the ball which was heading wide and ended up giving away a free. But they're a new side with some very young and inexperienced players (Cillian O'Connor is only 19) so I think that there's lots of room for improvement.

Weird to be cheering on Rovers as a Pats fan, but they're giving an incredible performance against Partizan Belgrade right now.

A massive congratulations to Rovers. They went over to Belgrade and got a win and are now into the Europa League group stages. Excellent news and great for Irish football.

Great win for City, and for my fantasy football team.

I always had faith in Edin (yes, I'm on first-name terms with him).
