I think you must have heard a different story then me ;)

    Theres another story? Tell meeeeeeeee!
I was on about the time when Dan couldnt work out the score and he turned to Sean Og and asked him "who's winning?" :pac:
Sean Og the only fella nice enough to say Waterford were and not just give Dan a clatter on the head..

I was on about the tussle in 2006/07 I think when Sean Óg had him caught by the scruff and Dan had a smile on his face.Theres a few good pictures of it.
Cant really say it here though :pac:

    Same :pac:

But yea, it was probably his time to go. Even though I'm not sure why he is was abit pissed about how much playing time he got.
Shanahan suggested that Fitzgerald failed to give him enough game time in what proved to be his final campaign.
"Yeah, definitely. I thought I would get a lot more (playing time) but that is not my decision. The lads would back this up. When I went back training I had been playing well, but obviously the management didn't think I was, so that is their decision and I will have to stand by that.'

What suggested the management thought he wasn't playing well? :P
He was a great impact sub this year like.
He'll walk away with his head held high though :)
I remember him back in '07 mostly when he had a rip roaring season. A goal machine! (except in the 07 semi )

    When it counted.

edit: don't mean to put the blame on him for that loss or anything though

U21 is a bit of a joke tbh
The Gaa dont really care about it, I guess they feel if you're any good you'll be training with the seniors by then..
Like if they really cared about it Antrim wouldnt go straight into a semi each year >.< And it wouldnt be straight knockout..
Still, looking forward to the Under 21 final Galway, Tipp should be good :)
ACTUALLLYYYYYY How long is between the senior hurling AI and the under 21 one? Coz if Tipp lose they'll senior plenty of demoralised under 21s..

Dubs blew it there. Live and learn.

They were just wrecked in the last ten minutes. They kinda deserved to win really, or draw. A draw would've been a fair result.

Either way WOOT up the Rebels.

    Go team.

Well, there's the annual party for the other 31 counties confirmed...

I can really see Kildare (not too knowledgeable about Down so I can't judge) beating Cork.
Cork were losing it themselves in the first half kicking so many wides and they haven't played well prior to this game either.
They'd want a right kick up the ass for the final because I'm sure Kildare/Down won't bottle it in the last 2 minutes!

Kildare might beat them. Don't think Down can. I really hope whoever it is beats them, though.

If anything it should be the other way around. Considering Cork have recent expierence in the final.

Cork will make all the same mistakes they always make in the final. The only reason Cork and Dublin had a shot this year is because everyone else was poor this year. Cork certainly don't appear to have improved at all.

    Oh Dublin >_<

Losing in the last minute is reallyyyyyyy the worst way to lose, I rather getting hammered coz you know throughout the game you're gonna lose, but Dublin people really thought they had it(And I wouldnt have put that down to cockyness)
But i've no time for frustration fouling though, Cork got a fair few frees in the last 10 minutes, and that was just panic on Dublins part.

Congrats to Cork though they kept going and never said never! :)
The amount of Gaa jerseys in Cork today... Cork, Dublin and Mayo :p

I doubt not having as much recent experience will tamper the likes of Earleys/Coulter's play in the final...

And Cork are very poor this year compared to previous. They really only got back into it through Dublin's continious fouling. The penalty and in the last few minutes they conceded like 3 frees. Needless ones.
Cork could have lost it through ridiculous wides but they can thank Dublin's frustration for their win.

The Cork vs Dublin game was EPIC! I knew they'd make the comeback, that last 10 minutes were so dramatic. :D

    G'WAN CORK!
