    Just a Lidl salad.. *ahem* 2 Plum tomatoes (x8) €1.49, 1 Chicoree (x4) €0.99
2 Banana Shallots (Supervalu) (large net bag €1.89 or thereabouts)
    1 large Little Gem (homegrown)

A sprinkle of cider vinegar will cancel out any sharpness from the shallots. The Lidl chicoree are great value, I find, very dense and heavy. The dish is a medium bowl (€4.00) from Dunnes Homewares. Works great for salads. I had to downgrade the size to manage my portions.. :o

Yesterday was a nacho plate from Oh She Glows website. Only instead of potato wedges I used Rutabaga*.

This one is from the other week, sweet potaot falafel (didn't turn out too nice :( which is why I drowned them in Franks :)) oven baked onion rings and sweetcorn salad.

*Rutabaga is way more fun to say than boring old swede :P

Ah I hate it when something looks and sounds so delicious and then turns out awful. Like when I find a vegan substitute for something and get really excited, then it turns out to be woeful, like cheezly!

Haven't had the chocolate one but I think the natural yoghurt one is really nice. The fruit one is okay but a bit disappointing. Also the price isn't the nicest either....

Avocado, cashew and caramelised red onion pizza with homemade moxarella

    UGwVM7c.jpg

This is the moxarella, kinda just looks like a ball of dough, I don't think I made it best, I think it's gona require more delicious experimentation, it tastes good though and the texture was really good on the pizza.

Ever try the Jus roll croissants?

Made them for my tea, stuffed with basil pesto, tomatoes and 'moxarella'. I made the pesto and the moxarella so I'm allowed cheat with the croissants :P

Also thought I was buying kale, but this stuff is 'endives', never heard of it before but it's good, I just coated it some oil and did it in the oven.
