Now Prendas will be stocking Mapei tights, LS jersey and gilet.

tacx satori en route, along with some gatorskins. Wanted Vittoria Pave, but they don't seem to be in stock anywhere.

Priced the Satori in a lot of places. 24bike and Ribble were v.compet but out of stock. By the time I factored shipping in Slane cycles were only a little (sub 10) euro out on the price.

But most impressively, and I'm stunned, was that at 10 to five this evening, not 5 minutes after putting the order through I got a phone call from them. One or two minor issues, would I mind waiting for one minor thing and they could ship it tonight for delivery tomorrow!!!! Saturday!!! Wow.

As well as another set of lights, and a smaller saddle bag, because I've been self-conscious about my usual one since Caroline commented on it at the Orwell randonee. :p

My credit card has taken a hammering over the last 3/4 weeks...

    Shoes

    Powertap

    Light

    Jacket

And a few trips to decathlon while in France...

Got these skewers for a little extra security. Was a bit worried about the quality because of some of the reviews reporting the allen key rounding the hole very easily. I put them on last night and they seem fairly well built to me. Some people must be tightening them very hard!

Also ordered the wrong brake pads
Got these where I should of got these for my v-brakes. My fault but Sure they look almost identical to an amateur like me!!

This is a plug. The cycling blog http://redkiteprayer.com has some custom cycling clothing for sale. I think it looks great and bought a set last year. To be honest the jersey is way too lightweight for cycling in Ireland (but would be excellent in a hot climate).

The shorts however are the best that I have ever had. Way better than my Assos shorts IMHO.
I recd two pairs instead of one last year due to a mistake by RKP.

The shorts are made by Panache and use a Cytec chamois. The are stylish, fit impeccably well and are UBER comfy.

At $95 (circa €69) I would highly recommend these shorts. Great shorts at an insane price IMHO.

    I will be ordering more.

Price mistake by me. Actually $105/120 depending on the short.
Still a good price I feel.

    That's a pretty confusing website....

On the Store page - there's 6 items, none of which are shorts?

Might be an idea. However I ordered two sets of kit from the US this year. This kit and some from DZ Nuts.
The RKP kit came thru fine but the other kit (which was a cheaper order) was hit badly for customs charges and admin charges which I am still contesting.
It has made me wary of packages from the US. However it still maybe worth contacting rkp to see if we could get bulk discount.

I think this is close to 8 weeks in the making, finally arrived today:

    BELL_SWEEP08-2T.jpg

Along with this (POW! Am I in the club yet?):

    kaiku06_katr_lrv_1_p1.jpg

I also got some DHB 2011 stuff: Merino base layer and Pace Roubaix Bib Tights, have to say from initial impressions the difference between this new line and previous DHB stuff is like night and day, quality looks amazing. Will know more when I have broken them in.

    One of these:

    ALURB20_7.jpg

Decent mid-range pannier - frayed bungee cord thrown in bin.

Got a thin windstopper hat too. Should fit under the helmet on the occasions the helmet is worn.

While watching a time trial, I invented something like this in my head only linked into the Di2 gear system so you don't have to look down to see what gear your in. As always some else beat me to it

You should sue them. Have you any evidence you thought of it first?

I am too lazy to be a businessman and don't have a clue about patent systems. I think a wireless system Ant+ style that linked into the Di2 system would be awesome but they probably have this all locked up.

    Megabucks :D

I'm considering buying a pair of the Pace Roubaix Bib Tights.
Alot of the reviews on the site flag that the ankle zips knock off your shoes as you cycle & also come undone.
    Have you experienced this too?
I would like to stick with the DHB brand as my DHB Finchdean bib shorts are a very good fit!
