yeah what is that???? It feels like an invisible person is holding you down or something, thats happened to me too.....freaky!!!

For a while I thought the house I was in at the time was haunted.
Then I slowly realised it coincided with me trying to drink my own body weight for the previous three nights.
So now I have found a way to solve that little problem if I have had a session.
On the Monday night I go for a long walk, when I get home I have a really hot bath, then I drink two or three glasses of wine really fast & off I go to the land of nod.

Got an eye infection once, both eyes had sticky gunk in them.
Overnight it hardened, woke up and couldn't open my eyes

    Thought I was blind!

Someone on boards posted this years ago, thought it was great

Woke up once and was convinced someone was breaking in, could actually hear voices down stairs, a different time I could see a face in the bedroom freaked me out.

One of the scariest thing was work up from a nitemare and was actually fighting something in the bed, freaked the **** out of me I was kicking, punching and shouting even though I'm not at all aggressive.

The scariest, was one night my daughter came into the room and tried to wake me (prob wanted to get in the bed she was only about five at the time), I woke up and saw this girl with ling hair partly covering her face, all I could think was $hit thats the girl from the ring, I instinctively swung my foot out, hoping to kick her in the face, luckily I realised what I was doing before sending my daughters head smashing into the wall.

I fell asleep in the cinema the other night when Angels and Demons was on. The missus woke me up and I got the fright of my life because I thought it was still on.

Woke up one morning after crashing in a mates house, unfortunately I had had, ahem, a few drinks the night before and was certain the next morning I'd crashed elsewhere...to see that I was sharing a bed with another man was a little scary alright. Felt a bit better when I realised I was actually sleeping head to toe and that I had made some miscalculations in my hungover state. That and of course the fact that it was indeed my mate in the bed and he's just not that into me! :D

as said sleep paralysis. when you go asleep your brain kinda paralyses your body.

for some reason or another when you wakeup there is a delay before the brain un paralyses your body.

When i was younger i used to get up in the middle of the night, grab my duvet and sleep on the floor in my parents room. One night i got up, grabbed the duvet, opened the door too quickly, hit the hoover that was kept behind the door always plugged in, set it off and woke up standing in a puddle.

Scariest thing I've ever woken up to was a wall. I woke up facing the wall and for a split second I didn't know what the hell was going on, then I turned around, and all was well.

Not so much scary but weird.

I woke up this morning and my arm was so numb. I had been sleeping on it and couldn't feel it. Felt strange.

Also more weird than scary - a few months ago woke up with a Magpie standing on my leg. Took a few frantic minutes waking up with said bird fluttering around house trying to get rid of it before I realised I wasn't in a David Lynch movie...

An absolute wreck the head. It's weird then feeling all the blood rushing back into its respective place. :)
