I've got the one where I think there is something in my bed, wake up, jump out and rip the duvet up and turn on the light only to feel a bit silly after.

    Nothing more sinister, so far...

I once woke up, while driving, to garda siren/blue lights. It seems that I meandered into right lane and back into left lane at approx 55 mph.

Woke up to my apartment in UCC with 3 wardens with fans, a fire engine, and me room mate shaken me like crazy! Place was in pure black smoke, my first reaction was " Its grand calm down , and try putting plastic bags over the smoke alarms "

By this stage the entire block was evacuated, i put a pizza in the oven when i got come after a night out and my m8 woke me up 3 hours later when he got home. Luckily he did, the smoke could have done me proper damage ;)

I've had plenty of those times when you dart awake because you think you have hit the ground in a dream, also plenty of those unexplained noises too.
