    French classes for beginners:

    Tuesday: 5-6pm: 5-8 year olds (starting 2nd Feb)

    Wednesday: 4-5pm: 9-12 year olds (starting 3rd Feb)

    These classes will run for 8 weeks.

    Please phone 890 5563 to book your child in to a class.
    Classes are sponsored by Europe Direct and are Free of Charge.

    An exhibition on the C.A.O., providing information on college application and entry, will be on display in the Reference Section.

    An exhibition on Climate Change will be on display in the Reference Section.

    An exhibition on Castles in Europe will be on display in the Reference Section.

    A Gardening Exhibition from ENFO entitled "Garden Bird Detectives" will be on show in the Reference Section.

    The books written by local schoolchildren for the Europe Direct "Make a Book" project will be on display in the Library 25th Jan to 12th Feb.

    Faxes can be sent from Blanchardstown Library - please visit the Reference Section (upstairs) for this service.

    2 Photocopiers are available for use upstairs in the Reference Section while 1 photocopier is available for use by the public on the ground floor in the Lending Section.

    (i) Spanish Conversation meets each Monday at 7pm and

    Irish Conversation Group meet every Saturday in the Library at 12pm.

    This group is free of charge.

    On Thursday 20th May (Tonight!) we are hosting Writer & Poet Pat Boran. He will read and discuss his memoir "The invisible prison: scenes from an Irish childhood". This book is a memoir of his childhood in the Irish Midlands during the late 1960's & 1970's. You are more then welcome to attend this event!
