    Blanchardstown Library has an African Literature Collection available in the general lending section. This collection includes novels by African Authors and about Africa. The collection also has non-fiction titles on African subject matters including politics, biographies, art, crafts & cookery.

    The Minister of State, Conor Lenihan TD will launch the African Literature Collection in Blanchardstown library on Wednesday the 22nd April.

    The collection was set up in conjunction with the Multicultural and Literary Exchange Centre

    The quiz has three categories:

    An exhibition to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of the G.A.A. will be held in the Reference Library throughout June, July and August.

    An exhibition from the Arts Office of Fingal County Council will take place in the Library in June. The exhibition is of of Art work from the Artist in Residence Programme 2009, which took place in Castaheany Educate Together National School, and explores their neighbourhood community.
