    To celebrate Europe Day the Europe Direct Centre in the Reference Library is running a "Europe Day Quiz".

    Please call in to the Library to collect a question sheet and application form.

    The quiz has three categories:
    Adult
    Young Adult (12-15yrs)
    Juniors (Under 12s)

    Completed question sheets should be returned to the Reference Library by the 30th of May and there will be one prize per category.

    An exhibition to celebrate 150 years of the Irish Times (1859-2009) continues in the Reference Library during the month of May.

    An exhibition of Arts & Crafts for the Bealtaine Festival by the Blanchardstown Active Retirement Group will be held in the Library during May.

    DVDs can be borrowed for a 3 week loan period.

    A Father's Day Card & Gift making session will take place in the library on Thursday 18th of June at 3pm.

    This craft session is for children aged between 8-12yrs.

    Make a French Flag, taste some French treats and sing some French Songs!

    Sabine Maher will present this fun French event for 5 to 7 yr olds on Monday 15th June at 4pm to 4.45pm.

    This session will be repeated for 8 to 12 yr olds on Thursday 25th June at 4pm to 4.45pm.

    The English Conversation Group meet on Wednesday evenings at 7pm.

    These are informal gatherings for those who wish to practise English or Irish.

    An exhibition to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of the G.A.A. will be held in the Reference Library throughout June, July and August.

    An exhibition from the Arts Office of Fingal County Council will take place in the Library in June. The exhibition is of of Art work from the Artist in Residence Programme 2009, which took place in Castaheany Educate Together National School, and explores their neighbourhood community.
