    An evening with former Minister Mary O'Rourke and guests - a public discussion on the EU.

    All are welcome to this public dialogue which is aimed to start a conversation about Ireland’s place in the EU and to encourage debate and inform voters about the European Parliament’s new powers and their implications for people living in the EU.

    Monday 20th January in the Fingal County Council Civic Offices
    5.30pm - 6pm: Registration (with light refreshments)
    6pm: Event Starts
    8.30pm: Event Ends

    There will be a further break in the evening with light refreshments served.

    European Elections
    Europe Direct exhibition on voting will be on display in the reference section of the library. The exhibition is to highlight the importance of voting and to encourage you to register to vote. Register to vote forms are available in the reference section of the library. You can fill them in and we will post it for you.
    European and Local elections are taking place on the 23rd of May

    La Leche League Breastfeeding Support Group is a voluntary organisation providing information and support to women who want to breastfeed their babies. It hosts a mother-to-mother meeting the 2nd Friday of every month at 10.30am. Febraury meeting will take place on 14th. Babies of course are very welcome.

    The Baby Book Club meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 11.30 am. Stories, songs & fun for children of pre-school age. Booking required. Sign up at the desk or call 8905563.(Next meeting Tuesday 18th of February)

    Went in there yesterday. A Creche. Kids screaming, running, etc. Parents who couldn't give a care. An absolute kip. How can anybody concentrate there. Staff are living a nightmare.
