Just took a look at the ticket for Sabaton there, crikey 6 is pretty early for the doors to be opening. Meant to be in work till 8 so hopefully I won't miss any of Korpiklaani's set.

Well there's a curfew in The Academy on Sat nights as there's usually a nightclub in the venue. Gigs generally finish around 10.

I feel like putting up my Christmas tree today but I'm not sure if I can be bothered with the inevitable cleaning and moving of furniture that'll come with it. IT'S DECEMBER, WE CAN TALK ABOUT CHRISTMAS :pac:

Ohhhh yes! Always reminds me of childhood christmas times at me granny's house. Must go and get a tin.

This is my first christmas as a dad so I'll enjoy it even more. Drums are an appropriate gift for a 12 week old boy, right? :)

Looking at some related videos, this could be your kid 4 years down the line!

Way to go Dad, you've given your kid the gift of music! :D So yeah, probably a seriously cool thing to get your children into.

That would be cool! I'm looking forward to taking him to gigs in years to come...I mean, I've no idea what kids will be listening to as he grows up but hopefully he'll be curious enough to want to listen to my stuff (and maybe find me some bands too!).

Spent all weekend trying to figure out why my computer wouldn't install Windows 8, and I'm still not sure why it won't. A whole Sunday spent looking at progress bars is a bloody waste.

    Fair play Peter :)
It's the gift that'll keep on giving for the rest of their lives :D:D

I wanted to buy my Godchild a guitar for Christmas, but her mother would flip at me for bring such a racket into the house :(
So instead, she got a Frozen tea party set. :)

I'm so excited, I finish up at 2:30 for the weekend and get to go on a plane tomorrow :):):o:o

I should point out that I'm not actually getting him a drum kit - yet! ;)

Although I hope to offer him a variety of musical possibilities as he grows up and maybe he'll settle on something.Or maybe not, he might choose some other path - and that's ok too!

So, change of subject, girlfriend was gonna make cupcakes, so I decided I'd do something I've wanted to do for ages an attempt a rice cooker cake! :D So basically she just made twice the amount of cake mixture, and I've fecked half of it into the rice cooker and fingers crossed it'll work.

    I'll keep you updated :p
