    Ah rotation of the heart as opposed to rotation distally down the truncus arteriosus... so post-natally the posterior cusp can be referred to right-posterior and left anterior, as left-posterior? That's news to me, what edition of gray's was that in? :pac:

    Yep. I think thats why the embryological left cusp can be described as the left posterior cusp in a purely anatomical sense.
    Crap, I forget what edition it was. It may have been the 39th edition.
    As for the student edition, Im using the newest one. I think its the 38th.
    It all makes the study of anatomy more confusing than it really has to be! :rolleyes:

    Is it really important that we know the embryological origins or is it one of those 'it makes it easier to understand' things? Saw it's a requirement for the USMLE.

    thats both good and bad news.

    Bad because we're losing another good doctor, just when we need you all the most.

    Where are you going I still have quite a few contacts there? Only work 39 hours a week, you wont know what to do with yourself.

    Off to Townsville in North Queensland. Nice and warm compared to here!

    They get you out on the helicopter retrievals as part of your training up there!

    Good luck Indy , try to get out to magnetic island or the rest of the WHitsundays. Also get up to the tablelands really beautiful there.

    Quite a few Irish training there now. Another of my regs recently went out.
