My apologies about that, I sent woddle a PM explaining my absence. Hopefully we'll be able to go for a run next weekend.

Yup, will join you on that one. May just do the 13 though. What start time do you have in mind? Early is not a problem for me!

Lads what sort of pace do you do on this long run?

Id be tempted to join you some time. (also whats the route? Id only be doing 10-11 miles:o).

No probs at all RB, the pace can be between 8 and 8:40 and there is lots of turns along the way if you choose to head back, I won't be around for an lsr next week but the weekend of 25/26th, more the merrier, be warned it's an early start

Yeah I heard rumours about this early start business:P

Might brave it though because Im getting sick of doing the long runs on my tobler.:D

Yep the company is great and it would be good for you to get to know ecoli, he would be an ideal training partner for you and he seems to be very open to training with others

Yeah i feel more runners you can get as company on them long runs the more the work can be share and makes it easier because it can be very hard to do your long runs on your own. I am doing a long run next sunday again (15 miles at most but can show you where to turn off early at around 8.30 ish pace) i dunno what time yet though as i have to check with the roster in work but you more than welcome to join. Likewise with anyone else

Happy to do the same route. I quite liked the circuits of Marley to finish.

I'd have to drive to Phoenix Park anyway, so it's only another 10 minutes to get to Rathfarnham. My preference would be to start early, but should be ok for most times next Sunday.

Feel frre to use my drive for parking as I won't be there, I'll be in Wexford

I might join yee some time if you're doing it in the Phoenix park provided it's 8 - 8:40ish pace.

The more the merrier! Generally core pace is 8:00 to 8:40. On yesterdays session I averaged 8:22 over the 13 miles. I think ecoli ramped it up a bit on an extra couple of miles at the end, but main distance is at LSR pace...

I'm confused! Is this in Marley or Phoenix park? I'd be interested in getting out for a run with some company and can make either venue.

Is this happening this Sunday? If so I'd tag along if that's ok.

I'll be doing about 6 hours at about 10 minute mile pace on Friday if anyone is interested in all or some of the run. Not sure on venue yet but with that distance can cover both Marley & Phoenix :D

Myself, Woddle & ecoli have been running around the Rathfarnham & Marley area a couple of times.

We've a plan to run again next Sunday, but the venue is not confirmed. Phoenix Park was suggested as an alternative. Since there's some interest in the Park, I'll take the bold step to choose that as the venue!!

    Sunday Training Run - 19th July 2009
    Location: Phoenix Park
    Time: 08:00hrs
    Meet: Papal Cross Car Park
    Pace: 8:00 to 9:00
