My usual chicken roll has now changed to a "jumbo chicken roll" and is 4.20. I only get two fillings ffs

Kind of gone off that deli tbh.

I had a poor chicken roll this week. They used a different kind of spicy chicken... :(

I've never noticed that much variation in the quality of chicken rolls to be honest. The breakfast rolls though....they vary from delicious, to burnt to a crisp, to raw. How hard is it to make a few hash browns like! :(

Honestly you're better off bringing your own lunches. Cheaper and always more delicious.

Ah yeah, but you have to treat yourself to a roll when you're feelin' blue!

Actually....it's kinda sad that spicy chicken can cheer me up.... :pac:

And a chicken roll from Spar won't do the same?

it will do the exact same. it's pathetic food for people with pathetic bodies.

outside of the salad bar in eden i'm loath to eat anything produced on campus. it's all starchy carbs and sauces soaked in msg, trans fats and very little fresh vegetables.

    disgusting.

There's a lot to be said for not eating crap in college though. Some people form disgusting dietary habits in their late teens early 20s that just seem to stick. I'm in a good position to talk about this since I'm such a f*cking Adonis myself :pac:

funny what you don't give because that's essentially what you are eating

I put on a stone when I got back here I missed scholars food so much over the last summer.

See you get different chicken rolls in the different spars.

Theres Good Spar, which is next to the butchers...Its deli is amazing and its Chicken rolls, breakfast rolls and sandwiches are beautiful.

Theres **** Spar, which is next to the off licence and La puchino...Its name lives up to it for being a depressive ****e hole, both with yer man(You know who I mean) and there deli, which when open is

And then theres SU spar, which does tend to vary in fairness, but there veg is of such terrible quality and the staff(deli) most of the time are terrible(Though there are some lovely ladys there).

I have never seen such mindless, childish drivel written before in all my life until I caught up with TST facebook page and the comments by the different sabbatical officers. It's absolutely disgraceful, unprofessional and paints this university in a very bad light.

You'd think with a couple of weeks to go they'd (the su) try and maintain a bit of dignity and go in peace and not try and pull the circus tent down with them high lighting their own personal mishaps as well as their collective failures.

It's almost at the point I completely regret even taking an interest in what the SU does, it's just a downward spiral of bad management, bad representation and poor public relations. The in-fighting, back-stabbing and side-taking is positively embarrassing, for everyone involved.

I'm personally enforcing a boycott and asking everyone associated with antisoc to do the same. It's at the point were student confidence in the SU can go no lower. This is rock bottom, they have been exposed, as a bunch of juvenile, attention seeking, validation seeking whores. Each and everyone of them is pathetic in their own way, cut from pure petulance and hubris.

They are to be ignored from henceforth. I will not be following their misadventures, I will not be commenting on their failures, I will not be seeking their dismissal or resignation. I currently could not care less about any of them.

We will set our sights on the SU team elect, including rockett, and will give them all a clean slate. We will give their positives and their success stories the same time as their mistakes, discretions and transgressions.

I hope the Thomond Student Times and the writers(who did a great job btw) who wrote for them do the same, let the current pile crawl off and let us pretend they never existed. No requiem , no eulogy, just let them drift silently into the night.

I would like to thank our kind followers who have emailed us bits and pieces about SU failures but will ask them now to refrain, as we will not be giving them much thought. The dossiers are full and closed on these mugs.

I may have added fuel to the fire in the past but my days of pyromancy with this crowd is over. Some men just want to watch the World burn but I don't think I can stand the flames any more.

im going to go ahead and practice a mod manoeuvre here, but keep it in that thread dedicated to it, either the impeach one or the one on FB...

sick to my hole of people bashing the SU...
also sick to my hole of the SU bashing others.

i wish everyone would realise that noone really cares either way...

the thread here has 31 posts
    fb has 70

assuming they were all unique (far from it) that leaves a miserable percentage of students who actually care.

go study for your exams...its what were meant to do in college.

    anyone else think
    1. library should have vending machines
    2. for the coming week, all students should have to display a student card on their desk

6th years are strolling past security, just thought that would be a quaint solution.

On the higher floors, yes. On the ground floor? Not so much, as there's a cafe outside the library.
