Hey, Im doing that course too :D.
And yes, I have that lovely red writing too...I rang the programme officer yesterday and she said that they are aware of the problem and are trying to fix it. So don't worry about it, theres not a whole lot we can do ourselves :P

Did you attend any of the orientation events for Biomedical, Health & Life Sciences today? I couldn't go because I was at a grad last night but I'm heading to Dublin bright and early tomorrow morning!

OMG!!! I don't know how to use this forum...
    Thanks for that fallingslowly...
Your so lucky you got accomodation
aww your grad. night was last night... so we didn't actually have to go?
(cos I was kinda fed up of going and coming every morning)
yeah i went, i actually liked it but i was late as i didn't get accomodation i missed the first one where ya meet people and introduce yourself (and make friends etc...) from what I heard from the people I met UCD is taking 27 students this year but from what i saw it looked liked it was way more i think...

I live at the Clonskeagh entrance. Where's the nearest supermarket?

  • Moderators, Regional Abroad Moderators Posts: 26,928 Mod ✭✭✭✭rainbow kirby

Isn't there a Spar just up the road from there?

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,452 ✭✭✭Time Magazine

Yep, but I'm looking for a place to do my weekly shop. Tesco/Lidl/Aldi/Dunnes etc.

  • Moderators, Regional Abroad Moderators Posts: 26,928 Mod ✭✭✭✭rainbow kirby

Tesco in Dundrum or Stillorgan? Don't know if there's much closer.

There's a lidl right on the 46a route out past foxrock church. Very handy to get too if you're going from campus.

It's a bronze (?) egg on its side, about 8 ft high. It's near the lake, on the opposite side from the Arts block.

    Google Maps

  • Registered Users Posts: 179 ✭✭Siog-Alainn

I got lost but turned up at 11.15 and no one was there :(

It's near the lake, outside the vet building

Who was doing the actuary course again? I m all alone so far :(

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 208 ✭✭TheJeanGenie

So 11 a.m at the giant egg? Just walk around the lake, past the science hub (with the lake to your right) and follow the path through and you'll find it shining like a beacon on a grassy hilltop

Merrion Centre Tesco is the closest to UCD itself so if you were on Campus and wanted to go shopping before going back home that would be your best bet
