heya can anyone clear up what the different orientation day stuff means
    Whats the acedemic advisory meeting
And the degree programme option break out sessions

and if youve paid your fees and registered online that means you can skip the assisted registration yeah ?

what are the peer mentoring activities?
    sorry for all the questions
Academic advisory will probably be about: The programme structure; What core/options/electives mean; Think about next year; Exams, etc.

No idea what break out sessions are.

Yes you can avoid assisted registration if you don't have any problems...

Peer mentors are, most likely, people from your programme talking about their experiences and giving general advice. From one young mouth to another, so to speak. Or it could be an academic giving general advice.

You're all so eager it's actually quite cute. I give you all two weeks before the novelty wears off and you become cynical & hate filled.

  • Registered Users Posts: 60 ✭✭Roxy.Randrome

Ah I know it's going to go back to being all boring and annoying and headwrecking like secondary school in the end, therefore I intend to enjoy my current bout of eagerness and make the most of it while I can!!

Agreed - but I'm so bored at home after 10 weeks of unemployment that I'm dying to go back even though I'm going into 4th year!
