    Great Gas on the Dock road was 162.9 for unleaded and 152.9 for diesel this evening. The other two Topaz on that road have already rose their prices. I would expect GG to rise theirs first thing tomorrow.

    Still 162.9 at Great Gas on the Dock road.

    The two more expensive stations on that road had plenty of cars at the pumps, yet the least expensive one had one car at the pumps and seems that way any time I pass.

    Irish people really don't seem to have a clue as to how to try to turn a monopoly into a monopsony.

    If people reward those that sell at the best price with their business it would force the stations that are inflating their prices to either match it or go out of business.


    The difference between that Great Gas station and the Topaz beside the Hospital is about €4 on every fill of an average sized car and much more on bigger cars.

    They were 162.9 for unleaded and 156.9 for diesel when I went by on Monday.

    Was in the shop earlier and I saw the frontpage of one of the papers claiming that the price of Unleaded in Ireland will be heading for the €1.80 mark in the next two weeks. Probably just paper talk but it defo caught my eye.

    so went out to tesco for cheapest petrol, 167.9, so had gone up, two topaz dock rd 167.9 Great gas dock rd 168.9 topaz by Ivans and topaz by coonagh roundabout 166.9, Topaz regional 170.9 and maxol beyond the regional 166.9, got it in topaz by Ivans in the end, either way I had to go out that way anyway.

    Petrol was 90c in 2009, that's a 100% increase on the cards in 3 years!

    I see in the paper this morning motor tax is to go up along with income tax increases.

    Absolutely ridiculous at this stage.
