Between the viewing point and the featherbeds 12.30 today. Went past a guy with boards jersey. His bike had mud guards.

Don't really like overtaking people on hills that much to be honest, especially if they look like they are taking it handy like this guy did. Feels like I'm trowing down a glove or something.

You went by with another guy? I was stopping to pick up Mario when someone said hello, so yeah I was... taking it handy >_>

Lime green jersey spotted on the Howth to Sutton Cross road at 4:25pm yesterday, I was in a car, you probably got home hours before me, the traffic was horrendous..

Two sightings of the pink jersey today.

First was a bearded Boardsie just after 11am in Blessington. (doing the Gorey 3 Day perhaps?)

Second was around 12.30pm as he was heading south through Brittas.

    Gave the shout both times.

Think that was me in Blessington, somebody from a group of cyclists shouted at me. Wasn't sure if it was "Hey Boardy!" or "Hey Beardy!"

Yup. Nice day for an ice cream :)

I find when wearing the old jersey I don't get spotted as much as when I'm wearing the pink one. Bank holidays must be the exception :p 3 times in one spin might be a new record for me :o

Squeezing into my territory Robert! :D

(I think I was spotted 5 times on a Saturday spin a year or two ago).

    Two sightings today:

First: A tired boardsie taking a break halfway between the Sally Gap and Laragh around 2:45.

Second: Heading for the hills from Dundrum at the mint around 7:30ish?

    Shouted greetings to both.

First was myself, pretty shattered about 90k into an over ambitious spin. What was easy last autumn seems painful this spring.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,409 ✭✭✭sullzz

Think I probably saw a green jersey turning onto onto ranelagh from sallymount ave at about 8:00 this morn, I just caught a glimpse as I was driving through ranelagh , you could have been wearing beige baggy shorts on a hybrid, I could be wrong tho.

Anonymity on the internets? Times are a'changing my friend... ;)

Also, I think I've been spotted earlier on in Santry by someone.
