    I don't really see how the thanks below peoples' posts effects the flow of the thread, I just skim over it.

    I don't think it's doing any harm, but I'm not really sure I see the point of it either.

    It works fine for me on the cloud skin. It's this button: post_thanks.gif located to the right of the quick reply button.

    Go to your profile and in the thanks section there are two links. The first shows you all the posts that you have been thanked in, the second all the posts you have thanked.

    I'd really like if I could click an option so I wouldn't see any of this thanks stuff. I thought "luv" on Bebo was stupid, this is extremely similar and it disrupts the thread.

    I notice you have signatures turned on in your profile.

    Not only are signatures often far larger than the thanks box, but they occur after every single post, and each one is completely different.

    Just to put it in perspective :)

    As I have said at least once in this thread, probably twice, that option will likely be introduced at some point depending on the bosses.

    Screw that, leave it there. At least people can actually be thanked if their contribution is positive, and it leads to less of a reliance on postcounts, which people just leave random posts to increase.
