Myself and team visited S.A.C. yesterday. Great time was laid on by Darren And Paul. The site is excelent, mixed woodland, meadows and a few buildings. After a major trek which included a 6am start and a tyre blowout before we even left Clonmel! we arrived at S.A.C.

We were met at Mc Donalds and escorted to the site by Paul, given a guided tour of the place and then the games began! Hostage rescue/ capture the flag/cpp/ and then a bit of Tactical pistol, in a smartly improvised Aircraft fusilage!!

All in all a great day was had by all and the lads were even kind enough to lend us their SAW! would definately recommend giving S.A.C. a shout, the site has great potenial and the guys are absolute gents! thanks lads, David, myself and the rest of the team had a ball!!!:D

all i have to say is from the lack of information available I wasn't even aware it was open! Someone from sac needs to post telling people everything they would want to know. eg. opening time, directions, pictures. It has all been requested before, but they fall on deaf ears unfortunately

Can't give you directions, cos I'm not from around there! but if you have a Satnav, the coordiates are N53 45.675' / W007 44.729' hope this helps.

Al the info was on boards but the threaded was closed:confused: but if you PM majorsims he should get back to you, he meet us at Mc Donalds and led us in. It is on part of the Bond Estate if thats any help. It seems the guys are just kinda starting back into it after a winter break.

Definately, only thing is I'm based in Tipperary and our team have two members from the U.K. so getting it together can be a bit of a chore, as well as that its a bit of a trek, up at 5am to start out at 6pm, got there about 9.30ish(we took a ten mile detour) missed a turn! and then a 2.5 hr journey home.

I believe milsim said that there may be overnights as the weather starts to get warmer and a bigger event on the Easter week end?

Have to say many thanks to Darren and Paul for a great days skirmish.. Two very sound lads and very accommodating.. Have to say, a great site ye have there, fantastic mix of terrain for all scenarios.. Especially like the airplane cabin area, very original.. Looking forward to another, possibly longer skirmish there.. Thanks again and best of luck with the site..

Sounds like a good deal, I used my own M4 A1 on sunday, made by D boys. I bought it from www.Eirsoft.ie did the trick for me, mines a bit slow on the old ROF but has a decent range on it, must do something about the rate of fire.
