    yes, it was a dampsquid here too. there was no gust over 40 mph.

    My dewpoint is currently -0.6c

    It will be interesting to see if that hits. Generally those westerly squalls dissipate by the time they reach here....

    Its southern flank seems to be growing a little bit in intensity though.

    Which is my feeling, though it seems to be holding its own for now. The mountains will take a bit of intensity out of it as well.

    Just had the warmest point of the day, temp fallin back slightly to 5.6°C as cloud overhead is breaking up. If the wind dies down could get pretty cool.
    Last night I got bugger all sleep - the noise of the wind in the forest was simply incredible.

    Interesting conditions according to our stations in roughly a straight line from here to the coast (west - east) :-

    Myself @ 204 Metres ~ 9 Miles from the sea 4.9°C
    Arctictree @ 250 Metres~ 4 Miles from the sea 2.8°C
    Mothman @ 12 Metres ~ 1 Mile from the sea 4.8°C

    Its windy so not likely that that warm air is trapped in the housing of my Vantage.

    Current temp. +5.4c Pressure 1005mb starting to fall (relatively quickly). down 2mb in the last hour.
