LOL is your blood boiling yet Stephen.........

If you open a paysafe account using laser card? The highest value card they sell is €100 so you have to buy a €100 and a €50 card. Will you be allowed enter 2 pin codes into Mermaid to accept these cards?

I have a mermaid account....can I still register through this? If so until when can I register.

Right i know i asked this before - but don't remember seeing an answer: just wondering when and how is the seat draw done, for example will the draw be done of friday night and therefore i can just turn up on saturday knowing exactly where i'm sitting or sometime on saturday morning..?

At the student thing they ran, we turned up and all the seating was on screen and in a booklet. Can I pay in cash on the day for this event like at the student champs?

the seat draw is already underway and will be finished by saturday morning so when you turn up you can find out what seat you're in

    I endose this service.

As a player/dealer let me apologise in advance for any cards I muck - card protector mandatory at my table. Unfortunately when I'm dealing/playing they are usually mine.

    Couple of questions:

    1. Underraises are possible online (just checked on Mermaid) what will be the IPO rule on this (can't see it happening but it perhaps would be wise to brief the dealers)

    2. Table surfaces: I know from bitter experience it is nigh on impossible to shuffle propoerly on a hard surface - will there be proper poker tables? Dumb question, but if not I'll bring a foam pad or something for under the table cloth.

It's not thankless if you thank me, so stop it, ok?

The most important thing with new dealers (my opinion, and I am sure you know anyways) are:

    1. Be the boss, but if a dispute, make sure they know to ask for the floor to rule/help.
    2. Not be ridiculously slow. No one expects new dealers to be fast, but extra long shuffles are something I hate, and can be common in new dealers trying to be thorough.
    3. Know the basic method for working out side pots, i.e. take the relevant amount from each stack in order.
    4. Give me good cards and don't get me dogged.

Number 4 is the most important by a long way though. I'm sure you have them all instructed in all of this though, just adding my 2c.

verifyin your card should be enough - the address verification is just for withdrawal of funds

slightly OT - but might as well ask it here: But will it be easy enough to get a taxi out of the RDS at 2/2:30 on saturday morning, since first it is a saturday nite - impossible most of the time and secondly The Police are playing in Croke Park so there will be an extra 50K ppl in dublin and the place will be very busy.... i was going to drive over but in case i get knocked out early then since i live beside Croke Park - i'll never find a parking spot and traffic will be terrible....

i havent read or cant remember reading in any ipo thread anything about what we might need to remember or bring with us on the day to verify we are who we say we are
