81 runners in lukes tonight. Great tournie and loads of play. Unfortunately I only managed to make it to 20th.

Looks like the action around the ipo and around town generally this weekend will be hot and heavy.

What a day of poker - sat in the IPO more or less card dead - and somehow managed to last to 7:30- started off kinda good -got up to 14K but two hands later fell to about 6K and then hung on - got extremely lucky on one or two occassions - A10s v KK aipf, flopped a flush....

Then off to Luke's 50 DC - 42 runners = €2050 prize pool - first hand got AA aifp V KK - AA held up.. got up to about 45K with blinds around 150/300 - got to the final table pretty confortable... ended up third for 300 - cash in hand!!!! :L - knocked out a guy for a 70K+ pot with JJ - 2 hands later i look down at JJ again on BB - SB pushes all in for 27K - have to call - he has AQ - flop comes K104 - turn J:eek: and river was a 2 - which was no help - then slowed played kings into a disaster hand... for about 10 obits in a row the same guy reraised me when i limp in SB and i always folded - but the time i limp with KK he doesn't!!!!!  so finally around 5am i came 3rd-

Welcome to the forum buzz. There is a thread here:

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055056768

that lists regular tournament around the country. It is only as up to date as the information provided by tourney providers, but there are 2 casinos in Limerick that have their tournaments listed.
