Yeah WC could reach the dizzy heights alright, before sea breeze sets in.Weekend looks promising for TS oh and also warmish weather.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,310 ✭✭✭Trogdor

Only reached the dizzy height of 13.4C here today;). Currently 12.9C

    An astonishing 16c here:eek: :D

    Not much sea breeze either.

I think there's abit of a Foehn Effect today with the Wicklow Mountains blocking the South Wind and making North Dublin hot hot hot?

    Speak of the devil!

Sea Breeze kicking in now! Temp staying put at 16c.

I see temperature at Casement is now 17c and Kilkenny.

Could be a few 20c today countrywide;)

Dissappointingly low temps here today. Yesterday there was a lot of cloud and yet I recorded my highest temp of the year so far at 18.3c. But today, even when there is unbroken sunshine the temp is hovering around 16.5c. There is no breeze so i presume the reason it is low is because last night was quite chilly. There is some cloud to the east of me- are those on the coast experiencing cloud cover?

I really can't see any rain apart from perhaps some drizzle for the next 10 days at least..

Things will be getting very dry soon and summer looming

Whoa, Kilkenny and birr are at 17c already as of 11am, i wonder if somewhere will reach the magic 20c today? Todays sky is a lot hazier than previous days and there is some patchy midlevel cloud about that can barely be seen through the haze, that might dampen temps here anyway.

Ugh pesky thick haze and cloud now completely blocking out the sun from the south while to the west and north of me its completely clear. Back down to 16.0c. 3 places are recording 18c at midday

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,245 ✭✭✭morgana

Still 14.9 C in North Cork. Hazy blue sky. High today at 21.1 at 2pm (but the reading might be a bit high as the spot is sunny in the morning but there's no more sun at that time)
    Last rain recorded on 29/3/07.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,033 ✭✭✭Snowbie

17.9c my new high so far.Still a gentle sea breeze which will now start to pick up.

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,778 ✭✭✭✭ninebeanrows

Sea Breeze picking up here, my thermo is only managing 16c ;)

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,778 ✭✭✭✭ninebeanrows

looks like there will be a significant cool down next week with a northerly flow encroaching although it will still most likely be very pleasent with good spells of sunshine and with very little in the way of rain.

    Enjoy todays heat:)
