Thats some radar Snowbie, pretty intense, and I'm on broadband! Pity you cant zoom out a little from Ireland....or am I missing something?

That's because Ireland only has two or three radars or whatever it is, but on every radar site the same ones are used.

Well that infamous blob is heading east for Dublin,at 3.9c the temp is rising with cloud cover,maybe sleet for the mtns later on.

On a related note, something fell out of the sky last night here but it was pitch dark outside and my bed was warm and cosy so didn't go out to investigate.

It go very very windy here last night between about 6:00 and 7:00(not really night, but i was up late:)). I just about managed to get my head up to look out the window, Everything was getting blown around pretty severly, but there was rain pelting my window and i could see the stars with not a cloud in sight. It must have been upwind from the Wicklow Mountains or somewhere??

Stayed completely dry here.

Low was 1.8c at 3.46am

Wet road and wet cars here so there must of been a decent shower earlier. No frost and mostly cloudy, but tis freeeezing cold out there!

I reckon if you see a shower today it will be wintry with the coldest air of the mini cool spell moving over.

Hail fell this morning when brought the kids to footie,bloomin freezing too in that wind.
Temp 6.8c dp 2.5c
Had a gust of 31mph at 5.10am and is consistently gusting at high 20s and low 30mph.

Just got to check my station for the overnight period, i had two gusts of 37mph. and a 10 min average of 15mph. Overnight low was 4.6C, the lowest temp was at about 8:00pm, yesterday at 4.2C
