A few datastore errors today, accessing nowhere in particular, Bargain Alerts, etc. It is more of a hanging thing that anything else, because if I go and click elsewhere after a minute or two of waiting then it will pop up immediately.

  • Subscribers Posts: 16,568 ✭✭✭✭copacetic

site has been unusable for me since around lunchtime, constant datastore errors and pages not loading, lost replies etc etc

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10,910 ✭✭✭✭RoundyMooney

    I concur.

While the page loading issue can be overcome in FF to a degree by refreshing rapidly 5 or 6 times (ongoing for quite a while now), the site has become so slow that to access this thread from the main page and reply has taken five minutes. Multitabbing through different fora is impossible.

Same here, but I'm finding that a lot of the lagging when the page loads is caused by stats.big-boards.com.
Static.boards.ie comes up regularly too, but not as often.

Posting is fine, but loading pages is not.

I started a thread in Media Coverage and it took me three attempts to submit it.

Happening here too, when trying to read a thread on GAA and on AH.

  • Registered Users Posts: 28,185 ✭✭✭✭looksee

Today, 19 August. Cannot access random pages, might get two pages of a thread and not the third, or no access to a thread, trying from another starting point or refreshing does not work. Worse today, but on and off for some time.

  • Registered Users Posts: 28,185 ✭✭✭✭looksee

Just tried to post and got a datastore error, though I think the message went through. Now will not let me into last page, any other, but not the last. I'm posting this via the quote button on another answer.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 36,634 ✭✭✭✭Ruu_Old

Errors all over the shoppe today. I can access a thread from its first page but get the error feyla posted otherwise.

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,465 ✭✭✭✭machiavellianme

    Same as looksee.
I can access any age in a thread other than the last page. Happens on any thread across the board. Only saw looksee's post (on the last page) once i clicked reply to an answer on the first page.

The whole thing fell over at about 7 pm for me.
