I'm 171cm. Their bike fit calculator suggested that I go for the 50cm. I went for the 52cm and it feels perfect. I have a BH Carbon Classic which is also 52cm but feels a bit too big for me. I'd say you should go for the 54cm.

You might have a problem getting one to fit that steerer, as its 1 1/4" right through. 99% headsets are for 1 1/8th, FSA have brought out a tapered set but its 1 1/8th top and 1 1/4 bottom, so no use to you again.

I'm 180 and got a 52cm on the PPS recommendation. The inseam seems to be the main measurement that varies it - mines 79. 52 feels fine to me but I reckon 54 would too. I don't think 2cm in the frame is going to be anything so extreme that you can't solve with saddle and stem adjustments. If you are buying canyon bidons with the bike I'd recommend getting the smaller size for the down tube as the canyon bottles are about an inch and a half longer than standard so they are a bit tight on the down tube of a 52cm frame. Great bikes btw.

So does the 52 frame have a 52cm top tube & seat tube c to c?
Is there a geometry chart anywhere?
(Can't find one on the canyon website)
The 'outlet' frames are tempting price wise but only larger sizes left.
Nowhere else sells these frames, you buy them direct from canyon is that right?

The Ridley I bought from RobFowl some time back, have changed the bar tape and cables and added some water bottles and my garmin. Haven't done the machine justice yet but am in the process with some 150+km spins behind me. Lovely bike to cycle and a massive improvement on my mtb.

5 11" and im on the upper limit for a size 54, just use a bigger stem and show more seat post

It's the specialised toupe Ti 130 and I have to say I find it pretty comfortable. Although it's pretty firm with little padding it seems to suit. I'm not used to road saddles having previously just ridden mtb saddles but it didn't take long to get used to it at all. My second cycle on the bike was 175km and although the posterior was a little tender after I don't know if it would have been any better in the mtb saddle I was used to. That was also done in a cheap pair of shorts I got in Elverys but I've recently bought a decent pair of bib shorts.

Upgraded the saddle and chainset and skewers, weighs in at 7.6kgs as is. Cant wait to get out for a spin!

I have the F700 with a fatty and I love the bike. If i had the money i'd go into a new Cannondale any day they climb like goats and are so easy to handle on the single track.

i have a fatty ultra in bits in the shed if you want it. free. I was going to dump it as I dont need it.. the seals are gone . good for spares.

Decided to commute to work this year so got myself some new wheels.
Driving to work is currently costing me roughly €200 a month between toll charges and BIK.(no fuel costs) I'll probably blow that on upgrades.:D
