    PRS Santana SE

    Marshall AVT 50 watt amp

Ibanez tubescreamer TS-9 (I love this so much)
Boss DS-1 (to be replaced with a marshall shred master as soon as I win one on eBay)
Danelectric dan-o-wah (probably going to be retired to the drawer of old effects as I don't use it very much)
RFX phaseovibe (weird effect I picked up in America acts as a phaser and as a vibrato)
    Boss TU-2 Chromatic tuner

I also sometimes use a Line 6 pod thourgh my effects loop when I want to make significant changes to my sound.

I use planet wave cables and D'Addario 10's.

Next buys Digitech Whammy Pedal, Marshall Shredmaster, then either a Flanger or a Phaser not sure which yet.

I also have a Squire strat which I have alot of love for, even though it's a cheap guitar.

    Dude, computers are for geeks

Who said anything about computers? I don't use computers to make music.
    Chicks dig guitars, brainiac!!!

Chicks know that guitar players have the biggest egos in a band. Girls look for a more fulfilling, sophisticated experience. Thats why there's always a queue for the keyboard player :p

Dude, once it says "Workstation" it's a damn computer. "Workstation" doesn't rock!

Typically narrow minded guitar player...! Anyway, I betcha my 'computer workstation' can pull a better guitar sound than you can from your gear... lol

Anyway, I admit the keyboards do have sequencers and all that crap built in, but I am proud to say I have never hit the record button once!

    Happily narrow minded thanks :D

I'll bet your computers guitar sound is truly, truly awful, a sound not even A Flock Of Seagulls would use, but the Casio corporation have tricked you into believing otherwise. Ahhhhhh....

Fair enough, obviously my guitar sounds are never going to sound as good as a guitar (obviously), but click here to listen to a short sample of some of the guitar sounds. I guarantee you will be impressed.

    Guitar:
Fender Stratocaster USA, three-tone sunburst with maplewood fret board, D'Dario .007 - .042 gauge strings

Jim Dunlop Original "Cry Baby" Wah Pedal

    Trace Elliott leads

Computers cannot reproduce the sound of a perfect guitar, amp and guitarist combination, end of discussion. The emotion put in by the player makes the music instantly better.

At last, my Ric bass is all ship shape, etc.

I pick it up tomorrow... can't wait :D

Sorry 'Newband' this is a typical "My dick's bigger than yours" type thread.

    We're all egotistical showoffs here.
