Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Many moons ago I suggested Thomond park to someone, fly into Shannon...do a gig...and then back to Shannon and onto Europe...would be so easy

A million euro or dollars ?

If a million euro ,that is pretty high and would necessitate a high ticket fee allright in the 3arena.
75 euro per head just to cover the 1m , it would be prohibitive .

If they were playing 2 nights would it be a million a night ?

An outdoor concert would be the only option ,perhaps 30k capacity .
I think they would sell it out @ 90 euro per head easily.

Pearl jam tickets are over $130 in the US these days.
Ticket price for them seems to vary in Europe as they’re dealing with different promoters in deifferent countries.

It would be a whole lot of more than €75 this time. Damn I think the tickets for the last gig in the point was €90 or so

Was watching a pearl jam show from.Bradford circa 93. Mad jumping up andvfown off the stage from the crowd..

it's just one of those things and nothing we can do about it as it's up to the guys in suites. like EV shows sold very well here and PJ have a big enough fan base here but they just thing nah they won't sell enough here **** the fans bacisally and make them travel abroad to see the band

I'm hating this thread of some bands ignoring Ireland

On the indoor tour in the US last year they were using a flat ticket price across the venue ,I think it was ~75 usd plus fees .
For the outdoor venues,Wrigley and Fenway the top ticket price was $85 plus fees .
I'm positive of this ,I bought tickets for a few venues for family in the US.

I think it’s 10c tickets I was referring to. My tickets for Brooklyn a few years ago were about $125/130 each. And they were not great seats either.

10c tickets are weirdly more expensive than general sale.

This, for a band that battled hard about ticket prices for fans.

It's better be. 14.07 would be ideal. I could connect it with my holidays.

Is that the supposed Lisbon date? Cool festival bar areas can get tight on space, would recommend though.

Think I’m done tbh. Seen pj 39 times live all over the place. Just can’t find even a smidgen or excitement for this tour and normally I’d be all over going to Berlin or Copenhagen or better yet somewhere I haven’t been like Barcelona.

Hopefully I snap out of it with enough time to book something.

Sort of feeling the same, I've only seen them once though! Or was it twice? Can't remember. Anyway, they always do a good gig but I'm finding it hard balancing out the cost along with the desire to see them. If they released a really good album, which they haven't done for a long time, it might help me make my decision.

If there's any spare 10 club early access codes going for Berlin I would be (even more) in debted to who can provide one.

That is if it can be done

Get on airbnb fast unless you are camping it. If you are using airbnb, use Uber then, saved so much time and hassle as queues are big for busses/taxis

Value of the festival ticket would be great in comparison to a standalone show. May think of that and change plans actually, see the Waldbuhne another time.

Any questions on Nos just ask, loved Lisbon

debating between Lisbon and Berlin myself. Leaning towards Berlin because of all the praise for the venue and the fact it's a solo show but at about €70 and being on a Saturday vs €97 on a Thursday for Berlin it's a tough one.

I suppose when some bellend 'falls off' a high barrier and injures himself, damages equipment, and sues it, does sour the taste of visiting IE.

Seen then 6 times and was looking forward to a possible irish date. 2nd baby arrives a few weeks before these gigs so can't justify a trip away. Wife is pissed off now as well as a late to the party PJ fan, she's seen them twice and Ed during the summer and is addicted.

Any chances of an Irish date later announcement?

Eyeing up Berlin or Lisbon. I hate the power this band has over me :)

Berlin prices are on tickets.de site.

Festival tix are much cheaper for this, but then they normally play longer at own shows. I'm half tempted to switch to Madrid, see nine inch nails and qotsa too, would keep me happy. But then the Wuhlheide....

If you are 10C member do you need to register for pre-sale code? If yes where because I can't find it.

Found it. Thought the 10C prices were a bit of a rip off, but actually not too bad when fees etc would be added

I don't understand. Do you mean a code so you can go on to tickets.de and buy in advance or getting the tickets through 10C?

A Ten Club ticket drawing is being held for members active as of yesterday, November 30th, for a chance to purchase pre-sale tickets.

For your convenience, you have 4 days to enter before names are drawn. This drawing entry period opened today, December 1st, and closes on Tuesday, December 5th at 8am GMT / 9am CET.

Asking in relation to above. Should I put my name somewhere as a 10C member or it is added automatically for a draw?

You need to log in and select which gigs you'd like to enter. If you choose more than one, you could get all.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 7,611 ✭✭✭david75

If you don’t get tickets don’t worry. There’s always tickets to be had among the touring fans day of the show. So if you have booked flights only to not get any from10c or wherever don’t stress just get on the pearl jam touring fans fb groups (there’s loads) you’ll find a ticket in no time.

Didn't stop eddie coming to play 2 solo shows here at a very pretty price to fill his pockets.

And I wouldn’t be accusing Ed of doing it for the money.
He booked the point to make as much money as possible with the intention to give every penny to glen to give to the home sweet home campaign. He hadn’t checked in to find out it had wrapped up.

It was too late to change by that time it was booked.
