Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Reddit also still down

Jesus, APPN on a mad run. Started the day down 5% and now it's up 18%. I had planned for it to be a long term hold but I'm sitting on a 60% gain 4 weeks after buying it, temptation to cash out and wait out this madness is increasing..

Bouncing back now. Ugly first half hour.

Things I never thought I'd say - "I'm disappointed that I'm up 130% on the day on a stock"

Stocktwits down too, basically everything retail is down, cannot wait for the movie!

So the money pouring from "normal" stocks into a few crack pots must mean some serious value out there for "normal" stocks...whatever "normal" means this week!!!

I have an image of lads on street corners in the US buying stocks who have no idea what is going on except they got a tip that certain stocks can't lose and free money!

Does anyone have ANY idea what they bought AMC at on Revolut? The amount of shares I have in it keeps changing, increasing mind

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,483 ✭✭✭✭Supercell

BTC tanking to, broke down though 30k USD - probably easy retail money chasing GME and co, what a time to live in

Having the exact same issue it's not clear - but I think it was 12.something anyway

Microsoft posts lovely earnings and is only up a smidgeon. The likes of Microsoft and Apple are now the Coca Cola and P&G stocks of ten years ago. Safe boring bets with slow steady growth.

Revolut worked, my orders for AMC went through (lucky it didn't go through quick or I would have bought at $16, instead it was 12.72 as it was so slow lol)

    This is infuriating.

Are people still holding AMC or taking their profits? Wonding will it shoot up again once brokers get their systems sorted

If it gets back to $18, I'll be up 300%. I'm going to take my original stake out at that stage. The rest is staying for the week. End of month could be a catalyst for more jumps as funds reschuffle and options expire

A lot of people are probably still trying to cash out, but there is a massive push of people to buy too so it's hard to tell at the moment. I'm holding

A ladder of red candlesticks and still a green ticker.

    Madness.

Wasn't planning on buying but bought some fiverr square and UMC, no real issue's with Degiro. Absolutely not touching gme or amc if the trading apps are liable to crash, 15mins later and your a bagholder for life.

It jumped huge after every dip so far. Risky but if you keep buying at big dips and selling at 30-40 instant increase after dip you could be doing well

Is Derigo working properly, there seems to be very few trades going through where it was ticking away the whole time yesterday. I know there's been a load of halts but I'm not seeing much activity at all.

What causes a halt? Is it automated?

Yeah it's automated, basically anything with mad trading trends, much higher volume than usual, big jumps or drops in a short period of time.
