That sucks. A dispute with ND is no reason to leak spoilers, because the ones that'll most affected will be the people looking forward to the game who see spoilers accidentally (Youtube thumbnails or twitter clickbait tweets etc). Everyone who would have been buying the game are still going to buy it regardless of the leaks.

I think a lot of the time people can be a bit too precious about spoilers anyway, as knowing what happens comes secondary to seeing how it happens, in terms of performance, writing, being engrossed in what you're seeing/playing etc. But it's still always nice to not know and experience it as blind as possible.

Really hope people show some restraint with spreading the leaks. If people want to check them out, that's their perogative. But not everyone does.

I checked reddit as usually the big games are heavily modded. Jesus what a ****. The titles are either spoilers or ND hate. I'm just going to think of it as trolls and not believe anything i saw. For this to come out and the game but even have a release date sucks.

If anyone has ever looked at Last of Us or Naughty Dog stuff on Youtube, probably best to go into your history and delete any videos from them in case the algorithm pushes a popular video from the spoilers to your homepage

Apparently it's over unpayed over time during crunch. and if that's the case then Naughty Dog only have themselves to blame. Might make them treat staff a little better in future.

I agree their work practices need improving but it's not a proportional response from the employee. Spoilers don't bother me too much tbh but I get annoyed in work regularly. I don't go berzerk and throw my pc through a window, well only in my head.

There's a big case in my exiting world of insurance in relation to Morrisons. Disgruntled employee posts confidential information of thousands of employees online. Employees sue Morrisons but lose in the Supreme Court. Employee got 9 years or something. That's them consequences thing you hear about when you do something stupid

On the other hand, if they release it digitally then it won't be leaks any longer and the game really will be ruined for everyone.

The leaks are out there now so its too late anyway, good luck ever deleting anything off the internet, its about as easy as putting spilt water back in the bottle. I've not seen the leaks but I'm not going to move off my subscription tab on YouTube so I should be safe there. I'm not someone dying to play the game so I can wait for whenever its released so I don't look at this story as a childish way of demanding its release.
Leaking this stuff will not end well for this employee, if it can be traced back to him he will have Sony's lawyers onto him the minute its proven and basically will have ruined his own career.

Twitter showed a recommended tweet (don't know the page or follow them) and it was a major spoiler. No way I avoid any more until the shops reopen. Anything Neil posted in the last couple of weeks was met with "RELEASE IT DIGITALLY!!!!" which got fair annoying but now, yeah, I think they should release digitally and bite the bullet.

Yeah, employees should get what they're owed but hope this guy gets sued to the moon and back (if it even was a disgruntled employee that leaked it).

And all the collectors item editions with t-shirts and figurines etc would be worthless if it was released digital months before. Who knows if that stuff is manufactured already.

More than that, there are probably contractual issues. If I was a large chain store I would certainly write it into my pre-order contract that it cannot release digitally beforehand. That would seem to be common sense.

I'm sure Sony are working through the issues. I would hope that they'll announce their plans soon.

Nothing spolier in my post, must have me confused with someone else.

I didn't look at any leaks, don't intend to, but even if I did I wouldn't put them here, even under the spolier tag.

Whatever about seeing it in a tweet, everyone on this thread is because they have an interest in the game. Why would anyone want to post a spoiler?

To be fair, a mere two-three weeks’ delay amid a global pandemic that’s completely knocked the world’s working practices and supply chains for six is quite understandable.

Ok, release date. I can play the original now again. Dick move for spoilers, hopefully I won't see any but I've lately been avoiding looking at anything gaming related. Whatever about TLOU2, I don't want anyone to spoil Ghost of Tsushima for me! Although, I believe Sucker Punch don't have any disgruntled employees yet...

I cant justify paying €70 or €80 for something I know will be available for half that in a couple of months time. Its purely a principle thing as opposed to a financial thing.

Fair enough if that's what it's worth to you, can look at anything like that in life at the same time and then you're always waiting for prices to drop

My plan for TLOU2 would be to blast through it in a week or so, then look to sell it forward on Adverts for probably close to RRP, same as I do for most games these days, don't keep anything really

Reddit tlou is on lockdown last time i checked but twitter is a free for all. A dev posted his thoughts on it, i clicked in and the first reply contained 2 major spoilers. I only use Twitter for game and mma news but I'll definitely have to stop clicking into any gaming posts for a while.

I'd stay off Twitch also, or atleast remove the chat. In the more popular streams alot of people where spoiling Avengers. If the spoilers for this game are big i could see the same thing happening
