Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just got the i5s today. 20 minute walk and they've fallen out about 10 times. New earbuds needed.

Yea I hadn't spotted them. One set is decent. Still don't think they'd stay in for a run though.

has anyone's Tiso's stopped working in one ear? Says connected but no music comes through it?

How to reset! 'Tiso i5' because instructions are not clear.
    • Put both in the charger.
    • Take out the right and put to your ear, press button and listen till it turns off.
    • Take out the left and do the same.
    • Now press the button on them both at the same time, until the light turns darker/brighter red. Both should now be off.
    • Turn them both back on at the one at a time. And one should stop flashing. What ever is flashing is the master.
    • And re-pair to phone,as resetting may mess with phone settings.
Edit: - Make sure BT is off on your phone/device so not to interfere with process.

They may not be paired to each other and need to be reset.

I'm looking for a reasonably priced pair of true wireless earphones to use mainly for running. Mainly looking for something that won't fall out whilst running and is reasonably good quality/volume (won't be drowned out by passing traffic). I saw the i5s are well recommended but will take up to 25 days to deliver through Ali express apparently. Ideally I'd like to get a pair ASAP as I find running without music unbearable and don't fancy the prospect of 25 days without running. Is there any decent pairs in brick and mortar shops? In general online seems to be much better value. All suggestions appreciated, thanks.

Took these for their first real test today. Went for a 40 minute walk and had at least 4 dropouts. 😩

I’ve sent Creative an email. Really disappointed as I love the fit and the sound. I’ll go through their check list first to see if it can be resolved but I’d imagine these will be going back again.

Oh god. Sorry to hear that. Just came back to say that I'm sending my second pair back. Not because of dropouts but because the volume has dropped very low in left and low overall. Can see online others having similar issues. Totally disgusted.

^^^ 'Tiso i5' are not good for sound isolation, unless you get foam tips for them.

If in a rush to get some, look at the QCY/Soundpeats options on Amazon.

Don't confuse 'Tiso i5' with the airpod clones, although they do stock a product like them: -

Tiso ix Bluetooth 5.0 earphones 6D true wireless stereo HD headphone sports TWS IPX5 waterproof headset with dual microphone

Saw them a while back, they didn't get great reviews.

I think they were reviewed as 'okay'.

They come in about 13 days if that helps. I've ordered 6 pairs in the last couple of months and they all came within the same timeframe

Probably still no good to you but said I'd let you know

This isn't a bargain alert but had Creative ones for 80, Bose qcII

    All not great

Got apple airpods, even though I have an android phone

Unreal, great for running (don't get any movement noise), simple to use, no looking back

The AirPods are a fantastic piece of kit. Tech wise and how they pair and work, especially with ios is super. But the right one wouldn’t stay in my ear. Even simple tasks of running across the road in traffic involved me holding it.

I had to sell them as they were no use for training or cycling for me.
I’ve ordered the i5’s but in the mean time I got the chance of a set of Powerbeats Pro. All the goodness of apple and iOS integration for me but the hooks and bud tips mean they stay in, even when I’m upside down doing hand stand pushups !!

Still have the i5’s coming so the wife will get them as she was hoping is oss on the AirPods to her :D

I had them. And the smaller version too.
They worked perfect. Just the hassle of having them with you alongside the case and they wouldn’t fit in the charging case.

So now instead of just putting them in your ear you had to assemble them before use.

In saying that they are really good and I’m actually selling brand new packs of them on adverts currently :)

So my tiso i4s are giving me trouble today. They just won't pair up with my phone or each other. I got the right one to pair with my laptop but it's very hit and miss. I treid resetting my phone and the ear pieces but no result. Anyone have any tips?

Not wireless earphones per se, but turns normal earphone wireless through Bluetooth. Sound is amazing as well, find myself using it all day and then maybe watching a film late at night:

    Some aliexpress sellers do.
They used to but the paypal comission charges were too high for many, so they stopped. I think they reintroduced it this past year, but the seller can choose.
Most choose not to use it.
There was a lot using it in April this year, but they seem to have opted out again mostly. Can't really blame them. Paypal charges are ridiculous.

Did anyone the i500 TWS? Is battery life really 4-5 hours

I have the i10’s and only last 90 minutes and want to upgrade

Is there a general consensus on budget alternatives to the AirPods? Looking for something similar that doesn't create a seal in the ear. Preferably with quick enough delivery.

I know there are a bunch of clones, but there are so much at this stage it would make your head spin.

i500 TWS are a clone or AirPods 2 but I can’t find what the battery life is online some say 2-3 hours and others say 4-5 hours

If I found proof of 4-5 I’d buy them straight away

You can change the tips on them. I got the i4's but I imagine the i5's come with the same tips.
I've also changed the rubber tips on them too. They come with bullet shape (for sports) and dome shape (for music) and I found the bullet shape one had a great seal, but after 30 mins i was fidgeting with them. But the middle size dome shape ones in and super comfy now.

You can also buy many different types of tips from many other places.

    Foam tips etc.

    Just saying.

Eg. Yaw, I got the Kookimotos delivered from Shenzen on Friday, delivery took 16 weeks, they make all my music sound like Rick Astley and they did give me a scaly earhole rash but for €3.67 would I buy them again? - Deffo!

    Seriously.

Bargain alerts has gone to ****e anyhow - front page seems to be the same every day.

Sorry for ranting! Love you all !!!!! Hugs etc.

Ah, feck off. They're bargain/budget earphones.
There's a special thread made any time there's a discount on fancy Bose or apples earphones that brings then down to just €185 with free delivery.
People here have been giving opinions and experiences on reasonably priced earphones they have bought.
Personally this and the Chinese phones threads have been the most useful for me in saving money and avoiding it crap in the past year.

Ah you seem to have bought the Foofiyamas - Almost a great product for only €5.17 - Just a pity about the connection issues, 30 second battery life, sudden bursts of 110 decibel audio and radioactivity in the earpieces.....

Anyway no offence to anyone - Just an observation & if the thread disappeared forever then humanity would not have lost anything IMO.
