    You're right. The OOM just determines if and when you're called for interview. You're marked on your answers to the questions in the interview and given a total score accordingly, which determines your place on the panel. The OOM from the tests has no bearing on your position on the panel, unless this has changed but I doubt it.

    Am I right to think that the General stream has not passed the initial additional information form as of yet? I seen someone post that the next step is assessment centre is this the case?

    You are absolutely right we haven't been contacted for stage 2 yet. Only the application form like every other streams. At this stage nobody knows what's happening next, but I got below message with my results for Stage 1:

    "For the above stream, the next stage of the selection process will be an assessment centre. The number of candidates progressing to the next stage is yet to be determined. For those being invited to the next stage, further information will follow in due course. Should your place be reached, we will be in contact. Assessment Centres are expected to take place in early December (subject to change)."

    Doesn't mean anything I had a AO appointed to my division a couple of months now and he had his degree awarded years ago like myself, that competition is only for a 3 year contract at a fixed salary of 31,000 (first point of scale) so it's not as appetising as the civil service AO

    It seems to be taking ages for the recorded interviews results to be out. I wonder if we are waiting for all the specialised streams to finish and results out before the assessment centre.

    The deadline to complete the video interview for the business/finance stream is tonight.

    I meant for the relational stream, I think they went straight to recorded interview, just trying to get a timeframe.

    Nothing here yet. I had a message from someone who emailed about the results and they were it’d be next Monday the 23rd before the results start coming out.

    Interviewed for Health Policy Analyst but didn't get anything back in relation to the application form for the standard AO competition.

    I applied for a few different streams, the status of mine so far are:

    Developmental Specialist Officer: OOM received; not called to further tests or interviews yet as they only took a small batch forward.

    Third Secretary: OOM received, not called to further tests or interviews yet as they only took a small batch forward.

    General Stream: OOM received, not called to further tests or interviews yet as they only took a small batch forward.

    Industrial Relations: No word back as of yet; went straight to video interview/recorded interview with no other tests beforehand.
