Risky one to look for a money back bet on.

I know, I fully expect to be broke in the next hour.

Just put a fiver on a risky but achievable treble.
    Lauzon by sub
    Woodley by KO
    Anderson in 1st round.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,651 ✭✭✭stiffler123

Same as that. Just put a win all my money back bet on Woodley:pac:

Throwing this on Silva vs Diaz not to go 5 rounds. Feeling super degen tonight, please don't judge:pac:

    Also went with treble on

    Silva by dec
    Leites by sub
    Woodley by KO

    37/1 on PP

    So close.
Just needed Woodley to get the finish.

Ugh so close yet so far. What a disaster with uncle creepy, 75% of all bets gone straight away! If Meisha had won by Sub, I would have netted 1200 with Iaquinta by KO, Leties by Sub, and Silva on points, just another 10 seconds in round two was all she needed!

And then a Boetsch KO would have covered everything, 8-1 for a knockout. Wish he would work on his sub defence, he had that fight in the bag!!!

I thought Gastelum won his fight, didn't matter much in the end, but Ive no idea how a guy backing up throwing so few strikes can win 30-27 in a judges eyes.

RE the not making weight, it showed again tonight it just isn't a factor

best bet for me on the card is mc call pts at 5/4

I don't see lineker ever beating the likes of mc call, benav or mouse
no doubt he'll spend three rounds trying to take creepys head off to no avail

    silva decision 11/4 (365)
diaz might be outclassed but he's a tough lad to ko, could see silva toying with diaz for five rounds and cruising to a pts win
    cant resist that price

    lauzon @ 2.83 (matchbook)
see this as a 50/50 fight and was tempted by the sub
he shouldnt be that big so not turning down value like that

    accum at 93/1
    hettes sub
    mc call
    lauzon
    silva dec
    boyles

swore I wouldnt go near woodley after condit and shields so am sticking to that

tempted by alves also, like those odds and natal at 4/5 esp when I seen 8/15 a couple of day ago
brunson too short but it looks a formality along with leites

    best of luck all

    in shock here
if somebody gave me a grand to put on something id have put in on mc call
lineker was swinging but not missing sadly

silva went as I hoped it would

wont underestimate iaquinta again for sure

didnt go near natal or alves apart from the usual losing mugbets

    bad night

Mein is going to be very hard to predict. He was beating the living daylights out of Alves and looking awesome, but is seems like he can't take a punch/kick at all to the gut. Matt Brown did the same to him. I mean really he should be able to take that kick since it wasn't in the liver. Maybe it broke a rib or something but he got up straight away and looked fairly ok.

Lads, I've edited the thread title. From now on its best if everyone avoids after-timing. If you genuinely forgot to put your picks in here before a fight, you're welcome to post afterwards as long as it's accompanied by a screenshot. But repeat offenders will be asked not to post in the thread again. Cheers.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Usually i do multiple small stakes acca's on UFC events. Mainly use betfair.

For some reason this w/e the exchange wouldn't allow any type of multiples at all. Only the sportsbook part of the website would accept them. 2 weeks ago I got them on fine with the exchange. Odd to say the least, annoying as well.

Just backed thatch at 1.88 to beat bendo (pinnacle)
Bigger than normal bet for me

Just can't see past this future superstar :)

Just collected a bet for both Diaz and Silva to fail their drug tests.
Diaz was short odds 1/2, but Silva was a juicy 9/1. Was a risky double, but I thought with Silva coming off injury, and with blackhouse, it was worth the gamble.
    $20 returned $300

Would the change to a nc mean I'll lose my winnings from Silva? Bet was with Paddy Power.

Negative, have had a couple accumulators in the past where guys got popped for roids, never has an affect on the winnings. Just in case they change their mind cash out quick!

    Predictions for this weekend!

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,590 ✭✭✭CurryFlavoured

Good predictions but I think Thatch wins, Henderson's big thing at LW was his size and Thatch is massive. Ben's only chance is if he survives the early rounds and it turns out that Thatch has poor stamina and declines (not that unlikely given his size/weight cut I suppose).

Thatch, Holloway KO/TKO, Lentz points, Magny.

Thatch by KO any one? Henderson will lose if it's predominantly striking

The bookies agree with you about Thatch, but I have faith in Henderson! I think Thatch is jumping a level too high from the guys he's fought who've been bottom of the UFC rankings.

A couple of interesting underdog singles - Kunimoto be Sub @ 10-1 on paddy power and Cole Millar by sub similar odds.

going thatch round 1 at 9/2 with a saver on round 2 at 7/1

I think we'll see great things from thatch in the future starting tomorrow night
in the past 2 years or so both thatch and khabib are two fighters I expect to go to the top although the ww div is seriously stacked

Going big on Ben Henderson/Nik Lentz double at about 6/4.

Thatch is decent and has a lot of hype but I just think the quality of opponents that Bendo has fought is in another planet, even if it was at a lower weight class. Ben wasn't exactly small at that weight either.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,590 ✭✭✭CurryFlavoured

I reckon there'll be at least 10 lbs difference between Henderson and Thatch. Henderson is used to being a little heavier than his opponents at LW so this is a different kettle of fish altogether. Size is too big a factor imo.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,515 ✭✭✭Hoki

Thatch has a massive height & reach advantage plus will be at least 180 lbs come fight time. I'm all over him to win at 4/5 and have him in a double to win by KO at 17/10 with Neil Magny to win on points at 15/8.

Going a little out of left field

Kelades to beat Borg (I think Borg shades it but Kelades should not be 4/1 in this, wouldn't be suprised if he won)
    Holloway first round
    Thatch to win

    10 returns 380
