Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I paid €42.49 for the season, which they said was discounted. I was happy to pay: Q was excellent for SRA and I like being able to watch delayed, as I often can't watch live.

its €42.49 for the Trans Tasman, which is on top of the €40 for SR Aotearoa

i dont mind paying as it works out at €1.63 per game, but it appears to be the same price whether your a new subscriber or existing. i though there may have been some pricing structure between new and existing, but alas no.

That's odd, you were definitely able to have 5 devices registered during SRA. I know people who shared accounts

you are able to use on multiple devices, but you cant be logged in on all of the at the same time
(according to them anyway, ive never tried)

You’re right there. They should have had an actual discount. Imho this is the future of rugby broadcasting. I hardly watch other sports, so I will never take out a sky sport or similar subscription.

Just like to announce my retirement, it's been a good few years at the top of rugby prediction competitions, but not getting any younger and the writing is on the wall. Looking forward to spending more time with kids and family. Very grateful to the opportunities that were afforded me, it's every kids dream to be a rugby predictor, not everyone gets the chance.

That’s assuming you have the time to watch 5 Super Rugby games each weekend, on top of whatever Heineken Cup/Pro14/PRL/other northern hemisphere rugby that you are watching. It’s a fantastic standard of rugby and exciting to watch, but realistically I can only watch one or two games of it each week and I’m not really calculating a per game price - more looking at it as 1-2 games per week over six weeks which makes the economics a bit different, particularly when I’m already paying for Sky Sports and BT/Premier Sports (although another way to look at is that it’s just half the cost of one months Sky Sports + BT sub).

There’s bugger all rugby on in the NH at the moment though. We have the Heineken Cup final and that’s about it for my interest. Lions tour I suppose. I have zero interest in the rainbow cup and dint really follow English or French club rugby.

Ill watch the Friday and Saturday early morning games live... and most probably the later saturday game

Of the 5 weekend games, ill usually watch 3 live and decide to watch the others delayed depending on whos playing and the scores.... usually ill be working in the room so i can cast an occasional eye.

i definitely won't be watching the highlanders v rebels live in round 3, as its the only 2:30am game,. but thats one ill definitely watch delayed

Crusaders 19-7 up against the Brumbies at halftime...could be a very bad second half for the Brumbies I fear

And the crusaders have been quite sloppy too.
Mounga and havili have been different levels to everyone else

Think it will be a clean sweep for the NZ teams this weekend. So many scrums in this game.

So close. That kick was always going be tough, I hate when games go down to a final kick.

Crusaders almost deserved to lose, they were the ones keeping Brumbies in the game. But they did the job in the end. I was impressed by Enari when he came on, until he got the yellow :D

Blues put 50 points on Rebels away from home. Unless Force can get a win against Chiefs it's a clean sweep for NZ.

  • Registered Users Posts: 831 ✭✭✭hahashake

Second time a final kick by Australian team to win it is missed.

More action in this morning's game after 20 minutes than in yesterday's two games combined. Worth waking you for.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,416 ✭✭✭Dave_The_Sheep

And for all that, it's still not that interesting.

Thanks, I've found it on sky sports nz on the iptv.
New Zealand teams giving ozzies big beatings so far today and crusaders on next probably be the same

Would think Reds at home will give Crusaders a game but NZ teams dominating Trans Tasman competition so far.
Doesn't augur well for Australia in Rugby Championship unless Dave Rennie has something special up his sleeve.

Union is just an afterthought in Oz in fairness. In NZ it's a religion. I reckon it's mostly Kiwis in the stadium in Brisbane tonight. Looks like another thumping is on the cards. I think the AFL has taken over in Australia. Even in Queensland and Western Australia AFL is always a topic of conversation. Union ....well when you have to ask a pub to turn on a game...it says it all!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,141 ✭✭✭✭Caranica

Thought Reds might put up a fight, but no. The state of that pitch is deplorable too.

NRL is king in NSW and Queensland. Western Australia has always been AFL.

Anyone watching the Force game? Was advantage over for that knock on, seems the harshest try

Yeah it was well over imo.

    Silly pass by cubelli

Jaziz. Yeah bad pass. The Force look poorly coached. Missing some serious power to barge over the line as well.

Why not tap and go 5 meters out rather then a line out where your shoved back another 5?! Frustrating to watch.

TBH its a bit of a shame. I enjoyed SR AU, and the final looked to have some serious atmosphere and occasion. Just not at the races with the NZ teams I guess

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,141 ✭✭✭✭Caranica

Didn't look like Hurricanes would win after the first 15 minutes or so but they came good in the end.

Anyone else having problems with RugbyPass freezing/being poorer quality compared to SRA? Had no problems all through that tournament but a couple of freezes per game with TT
