    SUPER CUP SEMI FINAL

    1st Leg

    Spurs (az1234) 2-3 PSG (Ivefoundgod)

    Cracking end to end game this, think i went ahead through Draxler only for Spurs to equalise. Cavani then pounced on some loose defending to make it 1-2 but again Spurs came charging back and equalised. Finally with not much time left on the clock Draxler shot from 12 yards out only to hit the post, fortunately for him the rebound landed at his feet and he slotted home to give PSG the victory.

    2nd Leg

    PSG 2-2 Spurs

    A game of two halves for sure this one. PSG started brightly and went ahead through Draxler who was in inspired form tonight. The game was ebbing away from Spurs at this point and it would get worse when Cavani found himself in space in the box and sidefooted past Lloris to make it two and give them a three goal lead on aggregate at the break.

    Whatever was said in the dressing room at half time had some impact as Spurs tore into PSG in the second half, piling on the pressure until Sissoko struck on the hour mark to make it 2-1. Minutes later it was a draw game as Spurs scored after a cross into the box. PSG were panicking at this point and couldn't get out of there own half.

    With ten minutes to go PSG seemed to have gotten a foothold again, putting on some pressure themselves and winning a corner. Neymar whipped in a cross which was cleared as far as Bernat. Lucas Moura spotted some indecisiveness on Bernat and pressed, winning the ball back just outside the box and threatening to break away only for Bernat to scythe him down from behind and rightly go in the book for the most professional of fouls. Spurs tried again to push for a third but time was against them and the game petered out.

    Great game az1234 and apologies on behalf of Bernat! :D


    PSG get the privilege of going out and taking a pasting from Colemania for their rewards.

    Super Cup Final

    First Leg

    PSG (Ivefoundgod) 1-2 Liverpool (Colemaniser)

    Close game this one. PSG opened the scoring in the first half with Liverpool slow to get out of the blocks. Firmino equalised in the second half with a nice strike and with the last kick of the game Shaqiri crossed into the back post only for Thiago Silva to miscontrol the ball into his own net and give Liverpool a fortunate 2-1 first leg lead.

    Second Leg

    Liverpool 4-1 PSG

    Just like in real life, a Salah hattrick was the talking point of the game as a finishing masterclass by the Egyptian helped Liverpool to complete the double. Origi earned his first start of the whole league campaign, due to a nice blue in form arrow and he would end the game with a goal and assist although just like in real life, was terrible outside of this :P

    The defenders wanted to get in on the act and Matip missed 2 free headers within 10 minutes and the next corner lead to a great save by Buffon from a scissors kick from none other than Virgil Van Dijk!

    PSG grabbed a consolation goal at the death through a goalmouth scramble but Liverpool held out to secure the boards league double.
