Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Is the caskmates range any use?
    Been meaning to try but crested is very tempting at that price

    I really like the stout one, can't stand the IPA. However I mightn't be the best judge as I really like stout & can't stand IPA!

    Definitely give it a try at €30.
    Even if you don't like it you can "inflict" it on visitors at Christmas :)

    I really like IPAs and I just thought it was a bit bland. Not much taste to it at all.

    6 bottles of Belgian beer - golden draak piraat and bornem, two different varieties of each, 10.5%x4, 9% and 7.2%

    15 euro in Lidl, draak is one of my favourite beers.

    Jameson 70cl is €21 in SuperValu from 4th to 7th.
    Went to buy 2 bottles with a €7 off €40 real rewards voucher and it was marked up at €23 in-store.
    Queried this with check out operator and showed her the price on my phone.
    She called the store manager,who honoured the €21 price but reckons it's an error on the SuperValu website.
    I'm happy enough anyway with 2 bottles for €35 with the voucherðŸ˜

    I was in earlier and there were loads of slabs of guinness around, far more than usual, so I’d say it will be in it.

    By "crates", do you mean slabs/trays of 24x500ml cans?

    Dunnes seem to think only print ads count! So as I'm looking at one...

    The deal is:
    * 24x500ml Beer - Guinness, Bud, Carlsberg
    * 1L Spirits - Smirnoff, Captain Morgans, Cork Dy Gin
    * 70cl Spirits - Jameson, Bombay Sapphire

    Runs 16-Oct to 31-Oct.

    They are also running the 25% back in points for any 6 bottles of wine.
    And €5 off selected premium gins such as Hendricks, Gunpowder.

    This offer is normally for infrequent shoppers that spend low amounts to tempt them into a full weekly shop
    Don’t be fooled by this just buy drink etc on offer, dunnes if far too expensive for the average weekly shop

    Instead of 50 by 2, we got 50 by 1 and 25 by 2 on a 100 Euro spend. I am curious to see if we spend only 75 will we get a 50 and a 25 voucher?

    I am only running out of my christmas drink now. Cans of guinnes were working out around 65cent as they were 20euro a tray and then discounts on top.

    With minimum pricing a possibility I will be stockpiling vodka if I see good offers where I can use vouchers. They take up little space and do not go off and can be handy as last minute presents.
