    for the weekend:

    double x otago +13 and reds -8
    D Nel 1st try scorer e/w @40/1

    ulster +11 @ evens

    la rochelle + 16 v toulouse @ evens

Sale and la rochelle let me down with last play tries.
    Otago never at the races.

Gone on kelleher 1st try e/w at 12s to see if I can salvage some profit

Expect a scoreless first half as I have gone for Ulster > 6.5 and Leinster > 12.5. :D

    Easy money.

The 'golf' bet was backed into 5/4 before the debate.... So delighted with the 9/2 odds.

Sale had a wide 20 point margin after

    weekend bets

    edinburgh +7 @ evens
(i cannot believe this spread with the teams that were announced...... definitely the NAP of the weekend... i expect this to get as low as +2 or +3 before kick off)

    Wasps -4 @ evens

    dragons -7 @ 10/11

    sharks -6 @ 10/11

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

I think Edinburgh +7 is good value alright. They had an awful result last weekend though.

yes they did. Im putting that down to being complacent with ospreys at home and being surprised at how good spreys were.. and then being unable to lift it during the game

away in thomond they should not have any problem being in the right pitch... and if they can get parity up front (which i think they can) then they can put that very green back line under pressure both with and without ball.

it should be an intriguing game to watch

8/1 for all provinces to win

    early forecast for this weekend

    bristol -3 is good value.

Toulon conceded 19 points to leicester at home, and only beat scarlets by 5 in france as well.
Province is basically a home game for them, but if bristol are able to top their rolling maul, then they will be removing a major toulon weapon.

bears are better out wide so if its in any way a dry track i fancy them to be able to open that Toulon defence... and the forecast so far is for a balmy night in Aix-en-Provence

australia +15 is also looking tempting .... gardner is the ref.
however it is in eden park... and if its a dry day unlikely this morning the ABs could open up and be out of sight ny half time.
Ill wait till during the week to get a better idea of weather though before committing

Not too fussed over the longer odds, smaller wagers. Really should have been a DG in the HC.

Herring available at 14/1 for 1st try scorer on Saturday.. Very good value

For reference PP has Heffernan at 12/1 for some weird reason!

I can see a few maul tries so I think that's good value

Early days but England are -28 against Italy and it's very tempting. They have every motivation to cover that cap.

I thought it might be worth highlighting here.
If you use Betfair and had any sort of bet on the Australia - New Zealand game today double check it's settled status.

They've marked one of mine as lost, even though it clearly won.
