Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I saw a little car from 1930. Not sure what type, I think it was a mini. I know nothing about cars. I was just delighted to see it. I'm beating my boyfriend in our running "oldest car we've spotted" competition. Beating him by 33 years :). We walk a lot and we keep ourselves entertained by playing "yellow reg" and "spot the old car" .

About 30 years too early for a Mini.

Two from earlier today - Boreenmanna Road petrol station. A Mk II Granada in mint condition, tan with vinyl roof, and still on original plates getting lots of admiring looks. Later a white Ford Anglia with a red roof and trim line looking like a nearly completed restoration project.

Didn't manage to get pictures of either of these as I was driving, but last night I saw a 1963 Cortina estate on the M1 heading north just past the airport exit. Looked to be in good condition, too. Later on, I was driving through Balbriggan and saw a 1970 SL Merc, also in very good nick. Two prized cars, by the look of them, and rightly so.

Wearing a top hat is mandatory in Cork. We're getting into practise for when that oil revenue makes us all rich. I'm currently trying out a monocle as well. :D

Anyways, two from earlier by City Hall in Cork. A Mercedes W124 estate on UK plates looking rather tired. Also a lovely looking VW Camper, red body with white roof, on repro ZV plates.

    Oh and yes

    Early 90s Audi 100 - or a Mk 1 A6 - didn't get close enough to see which of the 2 it was - the mk 1 A6 was basically a 91 model 100 with a facelift

    1987 Audi 80

Was in looking a bit rough? Only, about ten years back, a rather battered De Lorean used to pass me on the NCR almost every morning sounding like it was on its last legs.

This was in for NCT today, just ahead of my car.

It flew through, and the owners last words as he left with his new Cert, "I'll see ye next year, lads"!

Seen this Rover. Castlebaldwin County Sligo. I reckon its 1985. Old man, local, daily driver. Looks good from a distance, but patchy in places.
Sticker on the back window says 'Gilbrides of Sligo' which is a long closed garage.

    ROVER 213
    1342CC
    657 AEI Reg. Old sligo place/ 1985/86 I think
